It's now likely that MAYHEM is gonna surpass how many weeks Chromatica did. Once MAYHEM reaches 25 weeks, it'll be Gaga's third longest-charting album! @HausofMayhem @Sour Candy

  • UK Album Chart 32 56 23 MAYHEM, Lady Gaga (Peak: 1) Amazing week for her! Albums charting at #32 and #42!! Another 3.3k so the total is 162.2k

  • These gains!!!

I agree. If DWAS became a bonus track or something on the album so it features in one form or another.

Not sure if it’ll fit the overall aesthetic and vision of LG7 though.

Sam Fenders releasing on the 21st February!! Here’s hoping we don’t get a chart battle and the album release date is one of the other Fridays! (Ofc the music is more important but still…!)
Who’s that

So this was UK chart related! He’s a big name here with a growing fanbase. Both his albums have made #1 and anticipation for this upcoming one is quite big!

If Sam Fender's album was out on the same date, it would be unfortunate, but there is no reason for Interscope to schedule the album release of a global superstar based on what's out in the UK..

I am thinking that it would be out earlier though because Grammys will be held on the 2nd and it's a perfect promo spot for new single (or DWAS for that matter lol)

I would guess 50k (around what Chromatica did in its first week) is the ceiling for Gaga anyway. She cannot compete with big UK acts with dedicated fanbase and physical sales.
Chromatica did that without a proper vinyl edition remember! It only had picture discs. The tri-fold vinyl came AGES after but I agree that figure is probably what we're hoping for.
I’m unsure whether Gaga would shift 50k this time round if the 2nd single doesn’t fare better on the charts. Didn’t Chromatica have the massively hyped and successful ‘Rain On Me’ to help its momentum? DWAS wouldn’t suit the album imagery so I’d like to think it won’t feature in LG7 given how dark it is (it doesn’t even make sense to throw it on as a digital bonus track as it just feels odd and out of place), and that’s the single that will drive album sales given how massive it is still globally.
