not Djo now facing Mussetti, so he will reach the final without having to fight a top 10 and with Rune being his highest ranked rival

insane draw, that's worse than the women's draw

Not his fault that de Minaur got injured, or that Zverev threw away a two set lead. He was the one having to pull out of a QF at Roland Garros so I'll let him off this time now that he's the one benefiting.

Rooting for Rybakina and Paolini to win tomorrow, let's see this really random women's draw end with at least some consistency.

the Ladies semis are so not interesting

Paolini-Vekic and Rybakina-Krejcikova

Wish there was someone with a minimum interest on it

What a thriller that first semi-final was, the longest ever at Wimbledon which surprised me as they didn't always have a tie-break to decide the third set. It could have gone either way but Jasmine wins to reach her second final in two months.
Paolini-Vekic was an incredible semi-final to watch, so close between them. Hope Paolini can win it, she has a great energetic style of play.

Ended up rooting for Vekic, how gutting for her to be so close :( But what an achievement for Paolini, some tennis commentator on X says that she's only the fourth woman this century to make the French Open and Wimbledon finals back to back (both Williams sisters and Justine Henin being the others)!

It would be nice to see her win, cherry on the cake of an amazing season so far, but I just feel she'll follow the same fate as Ons Jabeur (losing back to back finals - one to Swiatek, one to Rybakina)

Certainly didn't see an hour and a half ago, Barbora Krejcikova beating Elena Rybakina, she came back and beat her in an deciding set, They'll be an new Wimbledon champion.
Brilliant from Alcaraz today  looked like Medvedev was potentially gonna take it to the 5th set, but Alcaraz pulled it out the bag when he needed to in the last few points.
Djok will be out for revenge for last year if he does get to the final and can never ever be discounted.
Djokovic really feeds off the crowd's support for his opponent  those chants for Musetti in that final game :cheeseblock:

sure Nole is the favourite, as much as I dislike him, he's been more consistent

although you could argue his rivals have been easier

Alcaraz makes me so nervous cos he starts well but he has this drops in focus, you can see he totally loses his concentration

But I think the biggest issue is the serve, he is serving terribly so hard to beat Nole serving like thata

Well played Krejčíkova .

Excellent 3rd set despite the wobble in that game .

Shame for Paolini - been outstanding throughout.

What a thrilling final game, and a great deciding set that could've gone either way.

I am gutted for Paolini, I hope she can continue to play at this level and win a slam at some point, but it's also nice for Krejčíková to be able to shake off the 'one slam wonder' label.

Great Britain's Henry Patten and Finland's Harri Heliovaara saved three championship points on their way to winning a thrilling men's doubles final at Wimbledon.

Patten, 28, and Heliovaara, 35, clinched a superb 6-7 (7-9) 7-6 (10-8) 7-6 (11-9) victory against Australian 15th seeds Max Purcell and Jordan Thompson, to the delight of a large crowd on Centre Court on Saturday.

The successful pair dropped to their knees in celebration having clinched a remarkable win.

They had come into the tournament unseeded after only starting to work together in April.

I don't think it was a good game mostly it was error error error rather than amazing shots and winners

Felt sorry for Paolini, 2 grand slams finals lost in a row in 1 month but at least she made it there

never thought she had it in her

cos all my Italian friends are like oh we have this new Italian female tennis player, and I'm like she's been around for ages, she's nearly 30!

hoping for a better finale today
