June 28, 20241 yr Hi there Jim! Nice to see the debuts for "City Lights", "Favourite", "BIRDS OF A FEATHER", "After Hours" and "She's Gone, Dance On". Great chart! Take care.
June 29, 20241 yr Author Hi there Jim! Nice to see the debuts for "City Lights", "Favourite", "BIRDS OF A FEATHER", "After Hours" and "She's Gone, Dance On". Great chart! Take care. Hi Sergej! I'm glad you're liking those! Leony on another good dance collab, the Kehlani song with its dancehall style is so much better than the current hit named after her, and it's great to see the other three in the official chart! Thanks, hope you're having a great weekend ^_^ Third Party! :cheer: What an awesome find that was, truly euphoric! Hope you're having a great weekend ^_^
June 30, 20241 yr Hey Jim! Hope you been keeping well That remix of 'Crusader' is great! It's giving 80s New Order style dance that you love so much. Lots of great BJSC picks - big yay for FUKHED making it in  'Thrown Around' is sounding good on a 2nd listen. I can only take his voice in small doses. 'encore' is an absolute heater, feels a bit underrated on Buzzjack compared to other Shygirl singles. 'Girls' - what a gigantic bop, TSHA's best single since 'Dancing in the Shadows'. Also happy to see 'Antystar' here *.* some great psychedelic vibes and James K's voice is just magical xx
June 30, 20241 yr Hey Jim :hi: hope you're having a good weekend ^_^ Pleased to see two of my former chart toppers in your top 5  I found 'Monolith' through a YouTube recommendations crawl, a method that hadn't been serving me too well in BJSC lately, but I couldn't ignore this thumbnail and song title and am so glad I did click on it! That's going to be a difficult one to follow up, but for the time being, I'm so delighted that others loved it as much as me. I was excited to hear 'CHIHIRO' because Spirited Away is one of my favourite movies but could never prepare for how glorious that slow build is <3 Billie is the one concert I have pencilled in for next year and I cannot wait to hear that one live. Outside of those obvious highlights I also particularly approve of the songs from: James Blake, MINTTT, TSHA, Fontaines D.C., Meth Math (thanks for the PFSC support too!!), Heartworms + Disclosure <3 caught some of Fontaines and Disclosure's Glastonbury sets and look forward to James Blake's today!

Very glad you like the 'Crusader' remix too *.* indeed it is! It was a bumper BJSC month, Night Tapes in a FUKHED / Fcukers sandwich as with my votes :kink: I haven't really got into much from James Blake, but that piano riff is so catchy and he has some neat vocal lines around it. The production of 'encore' kicks hard, but Shygirl is properly at the front and centre of it, perhaps my favourite from her since 'Firefly'. 'Girls' has a kind of late 2000s throwback production, great energy and Rose on form. I have your chart to thank for 'Antystar' - awesome sound and vocals there. Hope you've had a great weekend ^_^ Hey Jim :hi: hope you're having a good weekend ^_^ Pleased to see two of my former chart toppers in your top 5  I found 'Monolith' through a YouTube recommendations crawl, a method that hadn't been serving me too well in BJSC lately, but I couldn't ignore this thumbnail and song title and am so glad I did click on it! Hey Jade, I had a good weekend (first 94 mins of the England match aside :drama: ) Wow so there are, the taste  delighted 'Monolith' gave you a second top 5 finish in a row! It may well be my favourite of yours so far, even with some of my other 18 pointers for company. 'CHIHIRO' is an instant highlight from Billie - that's cool you'll get to see her live next year and I'm sure it'll be stunning in that setting! Glad you like a number of others too - fab to see Meth Math gave you a PFSC win, even if via a deduction! I haven't seen much of Glastonbury yet other than Dua and Coldplay but look forward to going through a lot of catch up during July! Hope you've had a great weekend too ^_^ CHIHIRO, Honeycrash, Go Fast Go Slow, Turn The TV On all great choices  Nice to see more love for 'CHIHIRO' and some lesser known gems  Dolores Forever going synthy is a fine swerve! Hope you've had a great weekend ^_^
July 1, 20241 yr Hi Jim! 'Monolith' was a fantastic Jadakissnia BJSC entry and one of my favs of the year for sure! 'CHIHIRO' is a stunner from Billie  'Thrown Around' is yet another fantastic release from James, he can't stop delivering quality songs right now. His new album with Lil Yachty is incredible as well. He is truly the king of consistency for me. This 'Club Shy' era for Shygirl has been excellent and she has served again with 'encore'. 'Bom Dia, Mentira' was another great BJSC entry from Utopia  There are so many fantastic songs here this month: I'm loving 'Death Grips', 'GTA.mp3', 'Girls', 'Favourite', 'Cyberia', 'No C No A', 'drifting', 'BIRDS OF A FEATHER', 'After Hours', 'She's Gone, Dance On' + 'Into Gold'!

July 2, 20241 yr Hey Jim! Chihiro is a great new entry. Quite high at #4 as well :cheer: Birds of a feather is great as well. I'm quite surprised this is the one that's taken off for her but it's a great song. ^_^

Hi Nate! Monolith' is one of my fave BJSC entries of the year too, maybe between that and 'Sleepwalker' from a few months ago. 'Bom Dia, Mentira' was a fine Utopia comeback (if I can call it that) too. Not sure what to expect from the album but would certainly be interested in more from James Blake like 'Thrown Around', it's quite the tune. Glad you like so many more here too - especially pleased with the shout out for 'Death Grips', everything I've heard from Etta Marcus has been consistently great! Hope you're having a great week ^_^ my faves this month: 02 NE Twin Tribes - Monolith -> fab bjsc find 03 NE Third Party - Believe 15 NE TSHA, Rose Gray - Girls 20 NE Armin van Buuren, VIZE, Leony - City Lights 28 NE Night Tapes - drifting 36 NE Kehlani - After Hours 39 NE Disclosure - She's Gone, Dance On -> best Disclosure song in ages 40 NE London Grammar - Into Gold -> glad to see them leaning more towards electronica again Good to see 2 of my top 3 here! Agree that's my favourite from Disclosure in a long time, and the electronic switch up lifts 'Into Gold' nicely. Hope you're having a great week ^_^ Hey Jim! Chihiro is a great new entry. Yes, if I'm not mistaken, #4 is the highest I've placed an official chart hit in my chart so far this year :o It's deserved though, those two Billie songs have gone straight into my top 3 of hers behind 'Happier Than Ever'. Hope you're having a great week ^_^
