Cheiron have made the final!! :cheer:

@Wardy, a shame but at least we both made the grand finale.

@Dobbo glad you enjoy it!! I’ve been a bit obsessed with it/them since I first heard it so had to submit it.

Didn't even realise your first two entries both came 28th, kinda ikonik tbh x

('Blame Brett' did deserve better than that, was a massive grower for me)

Thanks Bre tbh I expected Blame Brett to do a bit better. It felt very brat. :bratcheeseblock:

Well Selfish Soul managed to bag a point more than Blame Brett despite finishing 8 places lower so it was a success of some kind.

Cheiron’s 168 entry is a straight up lesbian anthem from the female duo 76th Street. :gaycat:

Cheiron is serving up some Mexican Rock for 169. :D I discovered this band through reading about this year's EMAs, where they'll be performing (and also nominated for Best Push Artist). They've been releasing music for 9 years but only seem to now be making a wave internationally with their recent album Keep Me Fed.

My entry is already in my sig so here's a live performance:

Cheiron have sourced talent from Ireland for our 170 entry! I discovered CMAT through a Spotify rabbit hole when searching for my vetoed Club Bizarre entry (Georgia :teresa:). She had a few songs that were shortlisted for the contest but 'Where Are Your Kids Tonight?' was the standout of the bunch. I personally love the 80s throwback sound, with very poignant lyrics throughout, and her voice in the middle-8 is exceptional. I had previously stuck to a more up-tempo pace with all my other entries so thought it was time to slow things down a bit. Hopefully other nations enjoy it as much as Cheiron! x

Haute & Freddy - Scantily Clad

This has been on my 171 shortlist since just after the previous contest wrapped up. I found myself wanting to relisten again and again so hopefully others share that experience. :kink: the video is a total serve too!

For BJSC 173, Cheiron are going 80s-inspired dark wave with Night In Athens - a solo project by Greek artist Tina Boleti.

MARIS featuring Caroline Kingsbury - Give Me A Sign

Found this song on some Spotify playlist a few weeks ago and was instantly hooked/adding it to my list of potentials for BJSC. The chorus is insanely catchy so hopefully this breaks my DNQ streak. 🤞 kink

Me & Me

The Beaches

This song has been in my vault for the past year, ever since I discovered The Beaches and their phenomenal album Blame My Ex. cheeseblock It continues the zero-f**ks attitude of Cheiron 166 entry Blame Brett, giving the middle-finger to relationships and embracing one’s own company! Who said brat summer ended? 😎
