August 12, 2024Aug 12 Quite unsure why people are still shocked at her decline/ music being produced. She's never been an 'artist' more an image for a business. She's never been known for good vocals or actually very good lyrics. She had her time she is what the music is, basic and always has been. I don't think many people thought at her prime she was going to come out as a credible legend. Lifetimes is perfectly fine for the UK market it fits in with what most are actually producing. I think people just like finding faults with her now and expecting far to much. Woman's World yes atrocious, but unsure why anyone is still suprised as this is Katy Perry. Basic personality lacking music. It's just this kind of music isn't accepted by the mass audience anymore. Don't get me wrong I love a lot of her singles but they have never left me wanting more or expecting anything, which is the problem. August 16, 2024Aug 16 I think this is it for her. Thw mistakes started waaay back, during Prism. Correct singles choices, marketing herself as the queen of Halloween, and rhen correct singles choixws with Witness and Smile... and all ok. Rise was a mistake, too.
August 17, 2024Aug 17 Again, I repeat, pleasantly surprised it charted at all :lol: Same! And I’ve got to say I unashamedly love this. I know it’s not the most original but it’s a tune.
