Might seem an odd concept for a thread but I was listening to Problem the other day for the first time in ages and what struck me was Ariana's range, she could really hit those high notes powerfully. I started thinking has she lost any of her vocal range over the years and could she still give a powerful vocal performance again?

 

What are your thoughts on Ari's vocals?

I don't think she has, some of her live performances and what I've seen of Wicked prove she hasn't. I think she just chooses not to showcase it in a lot of her work.

Agreed with Aly! I think her vocal choices were purposefully quite restrained on eternal sunshine but the final chorus on 'supernatural' comes to mind as an outlier, amazing adlibs there.
