What do you guys consider her biggest missed single opportunities to be?

Rain On Me and Yeah Yeah are major ones for me!

Kelli Young from Liberty X did a live chat with Kimberley, a nice watch! https://www.instagram.com/p/DJFUTousetq/

I have no idea why they didn't release "Stand Up" as a fourth single from 3 Words, both Cheryl and Taio were huge in 2010 and it definitely would've been another top ten for her with a video/push.

Also "Screw You" from A Million Lights, although I appreciate that she did put her solo career on hold during the Ten comeback. I have no idea why they chose "Under the Sun" as the second single though. I remember really liking "Last One Standing" from that album at the time too although I haven't heard anything other than "Call My Name"/"Screw You" for a few years...

Edited by THEO.

Screw You 100% but yeah Ten kinda stopped that. Definitely her best album track though.

Screw You was definitely the only real missed opportunity for me!

In other news, Russell T Davies has revealed that a Doctor Who two-part story in 2005 was inspired by the Jump video...! *.*

“We had adventures set in Downing Street because Girls Aloud did the Jump video, from Love Actually [2003 film written by Richard Curtis (Vincent and the Doctor)], where they break into Downing Street.

They break into Downing Street and they’re sneaking past Hugh Grant as the Prime Minister.”

'Stand Up', 'Rain On Me', 'Screw You' and 'Sexy Den A Mutha' are definitely the most 'single' sounding out of her album tracks. Think all of them could have done well if pushed.

I'm not as convinced as the rest of you that 'Yeah Yeah' would have really been such a good choice. MLR didn't really have many options tbh, definitely her worst album.

Cheryl hints Girls Aloud reunion could still happen as she reminisces about 'amazing times'

There might be a Whole Lotta History with former bandmate Nadine Coyle, but Cheryl says wouldn’t rule out a Girls Aloud reunion.

In an exclusive interview with the Mirror, Cheryl says: “I would never say never. We had an amazing time when we were together. I watched a tour thing the other day online and it brought back lots of memories. I was feeling really nostalgic.”

It comes after Nadine, 32, last month spoke out about the band, which split in 2013, calling the girls, including Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh, “bitter”.

Nadine had said: “There’s always politics in any band. It just happened that I always got more vocals than everybody else, so in terms of people wanting their voice heard, that wasn’t happening. And it made people, very bitter. They didn’t like that.”

And Simon Cowell reckons Cheryl should indeed Fight For Her Love of the band.

“I think they should get back together,” he says, before turning to Cheryl.

“‘Why don’t we get Nadine for dinner?...the three of us and we should talk about it. I mean Nadine is not exactly storming the charts as a solo artist is she?’” ( :drama: !)

Ugh, I read that quote from Simon via Attitude which pissed me off. Although obviously Cheryl only said it for the press (guessing in Dan Wooton's video? I haven't watch yet!) as she has no interest in returning to GA :(
I can see them doing a few live shows within a couple of years tbh, that's what they loved to do the most. But I highly doubt they'd do a Steps and release another studio album.
Simon's gone WAY down in my ratings after that comment. He's one to comment on Nadine storming the charts when hes fluffed nearly all his X-Factor winners since James Arthur!

^ Leaky leaky! In the place where music matters. A fan has leaked this in celebration of 15 years of Girls Aloud.

Very interesting to hear two "new" parts to Something New! Both sound great, but I can understand why they were unused for the final version.

"Fling My Soul Overboard" is a Megamix intended to be performed on the Ten Tour, but evidently was scrapped. :( It is

OOC Tour Megamix includes "The Show", "Wake Me Up", "Jump", "No Good Advice", "Can't Speak French" & "The Promise"!

OMG somebody please send me these!

Well it wouldn't be the first time Nicola works on a Cheryl album (as songwriter/backing vocals).

"Sound of the Underground" was performed as part of a Christmas #1s medley last night on Miranda Does Christmas by Revelation Avenue. It's not available on YouTube currently but you'll be able to watch it on 4oD.

Kimberley:

“I’m closest to Nicola and Cheryl now and I do see a lot more of them.

“I do still speak to the others, but a bit more like you just check in with people that you work with, I guess.

“It’s a different chapter in our lives now. We’ve got kids and things move on don’t they?"

Nadine:

“I don’t speak to them. I’ve not spoken to them in a long, long time. Sarah and I occasionally speak. Very occasionally. She phoned me before she went into Celebrity Big Brother and I was like: ‘What are you doing?’ I was worried about how they’d portray her. But that’s it.”

Does she miss any of them?

“No,” she replies, simply.

“They were great colleagues and we worked very well together for a long time. But I have lots of great friends of my own.”
