H said once again in a recent interview that Steps "could get back together for something big to mark their 30th anniversary in 2027". It's going to be a dry couple of years! I get it though, the musical is going on into 2026 so they want attention going that way.

I'm curious about what a 2027 reunion would look like. Focusing on an anniversary as the reason to get back together, kind of sounds like it would be treated mostly as a nostalgia trip... but they surely can't do another Greatest Hits! 😆 I'd like the idea of new music, new album... but by then it'll be 6 years on from What the Future Holds Pt. 2. They're all going to be 50+ in 2027, I wonder if they'll still want to be an active group to the extent of recording an album and promoting it. Time will tell!

I think they will comeback with a new album as they really cant do another greatest hits until they release a few more album. Its a big gap if we have to wait until 2027 but hopefully they make the wait well worth it and comeback with another cracking studio album.

They better come back with another album, I'll be fuming if they come back and all we get is a tour or yet another GH, I'd draw the line at buying another one at this point lol.

The come back albums just show there is space in the market for them to continue as a group for a few more years, they really should milk it while they still can.

They easily can get another few years out of it before they disband for good, id have a different opinion if they were releasing rubbish studio albums but in my opinion they are still delivering great pop songs that match the quality of when they were at their peak. If they do 1 or 2 more studio albums it positions them better for another form of a greatest hits for their 40th anniversary etc. From a touring point of view they are in a good position as they have a large catalogue to choose from to keep the tours fresh while also performing the big hitters that people want.

Ideally id like them to bow out having at least 10 studio albums in their discography,

I would love another studio album but if that’s not the case..I’m fine actually as we got so much (great) material after their 2017 comeback.

The only thing I would like is another tour so I can see them live ❣️

Maybe im naive but i feel 99.99% certain we will get another studio album from them.

28 Years!!!
I look at this photo now that was taken on this very day 28 years ago, when we had no idea that would be the day our lives changed forever, I can’t believe it’s the same girl staring back at me but I can see the Joy and excitement on all our faces.
When I think about the time since that day I realise that……
We have been Together,
We have been apart,
We’ve been successful,
We’ve been less successful (not often though 😉),
We’ve had quiet times,
We’ve had the busiest of times ,
We’ve had good times,
We’ve had bad times,
We’ve been Friends,
We’ve also not been Friends,
We’ve laughed,
We’ve Cried,
We’ve Argued,
We’ve reconciled,
We’ve had Births, Marriages, Divorces, illness and sadly deaths,
We’ve experienced all that life can throw at you one way or another and we are still here, I think for me it’s because Steps is my comfort Blanket, That one pair of shoes that NEVER lets you down, My Safety Net when life is scary, that smile that arrives just at the right time and that light that just keeps on burning against all the odds. I’m sure it’s because at its core there is LOVE. Love for each other, Love for our team, Love for our families, Love for our friends and Love for you the FANS. Steps makes people Happy, it makes people feel seen, it makes people feel included, it makes people feel safe that’s how it makes me feel, and I for one am so proud to a part of something that’s not only been special to me for over half my life but to so many millions of people around the world. It’s a privilege to entertain you all and for so long.
Thankyou for continuing to be a part of this extraordinary ride with new adventures always on the horizon, I’m not sure I can promise another 28 years but what I can promise is that I’ll give it one hell of a try. 💗

Wow 28 years ago the five of us made a decision that changed our lives.
We have been through so much as a band and also personally, it’s amazing to look at all the success and achievements we have made & are still making again as a band and also individually.

We are like family, we’ve typically had ups and downs but always pull together & as a band are very strong because underneath it all there is love & respect.

We couldn’t do it without the love & belief of our families & a huge shout out to my rock & backbone @kerrylucyinsta without her understanding, love & support it would be a very different story.
Also to all of you the fans new & OG’s thank you for the constant support, it’s been said many times but we would not be here & still going strong without you.

As the 30th anniversary of Steps isnt hugely far away, how many more studio albums do you think they have in them?

Sadly I don't think many more, which is why I am somewhat surprised they are leaving it to their 30th to do something again. Makes me wonder if they plan to just focus on nostalgia tours moving forwards... I hope they do another proper album again. They have could done a few leading up to the 30th and release yet another collection 🤣

I think they will have about 2 new studio albums in them and i think the next album might get a re release with added new songs like tears on the dancefloor did, well least thats what im hoping and by then it will be time for a new greatest hits and that will probably be them done.

I'm not sure if I have it in me to support a fourth Steps Greatest Hits album lol, hopefully not something that's on the cards... 😛

If they have at least 2 more studio albums before another greatest hits style release id be ok with supporting it along with at least 2 further new tracks.
