In 2007, 23-year-old Calvin Harris released I Created Disco, a cheeky shot across dance music’s bow that presented him as Scotland’s brow-arched answer to LCD Soundsystem. Fast-forward a few years, and the scruffy fellow playing house-party host in the “Merrymaking at My Place” video is suddenly baring oil-slicked abs on Emporio Armani billboards. What happened, of course, is that Harris (born Adam Richard Wiles in 1984) traded up from the Amiga computer of his teens, developed some of the best studio chops in the business with deep-house rollers like 2013's “Thinking About You”, and helped spark EDM’s pop crossover with hits for Rihanna, Florence Welch, Ellie Goulding and others. Along the way, he became one of the 2010s’ first DJ/producer/songwriter polymaths to earn top billing even on the songs in which he didn’t sing. No stranger to pyro-lit main stages—his percussive, synth-strafed 2014 single “C.U.B.A.” is big-room house at its most gargantuan—Harris has resisted getting boxed into any one sound. On 2017’s Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1, he lays down a set of slinky R&B jams for Frank Ocean, Migos and Young Thug, while the 2018 singles “Promises”, with Sam Smith, and “One Kiss”, with Dua Lipa, proved just how versatile his vision of pop can be. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History Calvin Harris 2007 10 Acceptable In The 80s -1- 2007 03 The Girls -2- 2007 43 Merrymaking At My Place -3- 2008 01 Dance Wiv Me (Dizzee Rascal feat. August 2, 20242 yr Author Free is very nondescript and forgettable, by far their weakest team-up so far.
August 2, 20242 yr If 'Lovers In A Past Life' was a poor man's 'Giant', then this is pretty much bankrupt in comparison to 'Miracle' and their earlier collabs.

Born in 1949 and raised in working-class northern New Jersey, Springsteen melds the gut thrill of early rock and soul with the poetics of the singer-songwriter movement for a sound that doesn’t just describe the triumphs and sorrows of everyday Americans but spins them into myth. It’s a feat that elevated him from working musician to something like a national hero upon his arrival. Though best known for his arena-sized anthems, Springsteen actually varies his approach quite a bit, from the sweat-soaked grandeur of the E Street Band workouts on albums such as 1975’s Born to Run to the stark Dust Bowl folk of 1982’s Nebraska, embracing the nostalgic allure of rock while integrating his sound with synthesizers and Broadway-level showmanship (the latter evident not only in his marathon, tank-emptying concerts but also in 2017’s Springsteen on Broadway run). Tonally, Springsteen is just as hard to pin down, leavening his darkest, most politicized stories—“Born In the U.S.A.,” for example—with his most uplifting music, a contrast that has made him equal parts patriot and dissident, often blurring the line between the two. Or, as he himself put it in a press conference for his 2012 album, Wrecking Ball, “I have spent my life judging the distance between American reality and the American dream.” But while Springsteen’s celebrated examinations of contemporary social issues have won him numerous awards, including the Presidential Medal of Freedom and the National Medal of Arts, the past has always weighed heavily on his imagination. Some of his most vital work of the 21st century, like 2020’s Letter to You, finds him pairing decades-old compositions with new material, managing to look backward while also boldly pressing forward. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 1980 28 Hungry Heart -1- 1981 35 The River -2- 1984 04 Dancing In The Dark -1- MILLIONAIRE 1984 16 Cover Me -2- 1985 05 I'm On Fire / Born In The USA -3- 1985 17 Glory Days -4- 1985 09 Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town / My Hometown -5- 1986 18 War -1- 1987 54 Fire -2- 1987 16 Born To Run (Live) -3- 1987 20 Brilliant Disguise -1- 1987 45 Tunnel Of Love -2- 1988 13 Tougher Than The Rest -3- 1988 32 Spare Parts -4- 1992 11 Human Touch -1*- 1992 34 Better Days -1- 1992 32 57 Channels (And Nothin' On) -2*- 1992 46 Leap Of Faith -2- 1993 48 Lucky Town (Live) -1- 1994 02 Streets Of Philadelphia -OST- 1995 17 Secret Garden -1- 1996 26 The Ghost of Tom Joad -1- 2002 39 Lonesome Day -1- 2003 94 The Rising -2- 2007 96 Radio Nowhere -1- 2007 47 Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town -NAS- 2009 93 Born To Run -1- 2014 83 American Beauty -1- 0 x #1 | 3 x Top 5 | 4 x Top 10 | 12 x Top 20 | 19 x Top 40 | 28 x Top 100 Social Media Bruce Springsteen
August 2, 20242 yr Author 34 | | 1st week Central Cee gen z luv Non-album single Released: 26th July 2024 Label: Columbia Records Chart Statistics NE (08/08/2024) | 34 Sales: - Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio 00 Sales 00 Audio Streaming 00 Video Streaming Video VIbidJm9q34 Biography Central Cee brings a brazen yet conscientious perspective to the hardened UK drill scene. Born Oakley Neil H.T. Caesar-Su in 1998, he was raised in the Shepherd’s Bush suburb of West London. At 13, he began making music that was heavily influenced by the late 2Pac, and further honed his mic skills by listening to contemporary rap juggernauts J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar. Initially attracted to the melodic UK trapwave sound of the late 2010s, Cee embraced drill production on 2020’s “Loading,” a boastful song that doubled as an open space for him to reflect on his harsh come-up. Central Cee’s debut mixtape, 2021’s Wild West, saw the MC making revelatory confessions on tracks like the standout “Commitment Issues.” The 2022 single “Doja,” which sampled Eve and Gwen Stefani’s 2001 hit “Let Me Blow Ya Mind,” highlighted his ability to craft clever songs that connect with his insatiable audience. With the Drake-assisted “On The Radar Freestyle” and “Sprinter” with fellow UK rapper Dave—both released in 2023—Central Cee’s artistic reach has expanded from regional to global. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2020 19 Loading -2- 2021 44 Pinging (6 Figures) -3- 2021 09 Commitment Issues -4- 2021 44 Day In The Life -1- 2021 16 6 For 6 -5- 2021 62 The Great Escape (Blanco & Central Cee) 2021 17 Meant To Be (Stay Flee Get Lizzy, Fredo & Central Cee) 2021 34 Little Bit Of This -NAS- 2021 04 Obsessed With You -1- 2021 06 Overseas (D-Block Europe feat.
