I really don't understand why you would like Like a Prayer or Nsync top 10.

They had their era, let's maybe have upcoming artists have their fair shot ? DO we really need a Madonna song from 35 years ago in the charts again?

We already have all that Bulls*it for Xmas

What is unfair about a song having a genuine resurgence in popularity?

how can upcoming artists have their shot when most of their music is boring.there s a reason that old songs are back in the charts the last years(Kate Bush ,sophie ellis bextor, whitney etc)and theres a reason that new artists are trying to revive the 80s music likw The Weeknd - Blinding Lights inspired by Aha and was a big hit.

Deadpool and Wolverine prefer N Sync and Madonna and other oldies for the ost

Alls I'm saying is, if Madonna is being denied a decent position due to them neglecting to do a reset then that's unfair - especially if In Sink should be granted one.
There’s always been old songs coming back to the charts even during the physical era - ‘Stand By Me’, ‘Reel Petite’ etc!
It's not like the chart is getting clogged up with old songs like it does at Christmas - there's really no issue with old songs getting a resurgence. I'd much rather that then the likes of 'Austin' clogging up the top 10 for months on end!
I am really happy for Chase and Status and Stormzy. Such a great song, and was incredible seeing it live at the MK Bowl on Saturday. Really hope it clings on for number 1, much deserved I would say, and another UK hit to top the charts which is good to see 😀
This has probably already been asked but was Kenya Grace the last time we had a drum and bass song at #1? What about before that?
