Of all the songs he has written I would have asked him to name his top five & not given him five songs to choose from <_<

In the Robbie Williams Rewind podcast survey in 2023 the fans favourite top 4 were;

5 Let Me Entertain You

4 No Regrets

3 Feel

2 Come Undone

1 Angels

A lot of Dick****s posting on social media today regarding Scott Mills , five minutes in & they make up their minds they hate him already

This is a headline from The Express

Scott Mills leaves BBC Radio 2 fans ‘turning off’ in minutes as first song sparks fury

It was lovely of Rob to ring into the show , Scott has always been kind to him & hopefully he will play some of his songs on the radio. Good start anyway with the first song being Rock DJ from the Better Man soundtrack

I had forgotten the upcoming gig in Malaga in April ....

The singer will take to the stage at Malaga Port on April 9, where he will be named ‘godfather’ of TUI Cruises’ latest vessel, the Mein Schiff Relax.

Robbie Williams will perform in Malaga this spring with tickets available soon :)

His participation was confirmed at the Fitur International Tourism Fair in Madrid.

The concert is primarily for the 15,000 passengers of the three cruises coinciding at the Levante quay that day.

Some 2,000 tickets will also be available for the general public with prices between €170-199.

Though no release has been confirmed, the link to buy tickets will soon be available on the social media accounts for Malaga port (@malagaport) and the council (@ayuntamientomalaga).

“Against the backdrop of the Andalucian coastal city, the feel-good fleet of TUI Cruises will experience a spectacular christening event with a special performance by Robbie

Robbie Williams in Pretoria: Electrifying, Unmissable, Unstoppable.

The world’s greatest showman promised to entertain—and for two unforgettable hours, Robbie Williams delivered a performance masterclass that left Pretoria’s SunBet Arena buzzing with pure euphoria. In a night destined for the history books, the British pop icon, brought to South Africa by Big Concerts, reminded everyone why he’s a global entertainment juggernaut.

Originally envisioned as a single blockbuster event at FNB Stadium’s Calabash, the show morphed into two intimate, electrifying nights at Africa’s premier live entertainment venue. The change heightened the sense of occasion, forging a more personal connection between Robbie and his devoted fans. This wasn’t just a concert, as Robbie himself said—this was therapy.

It had been nearly two decades since Robbie last graced South African soil, but from the opening thunder of Let Me Entertain You, he seized the crowd with his boundless energy and magnetic charisma. Dressed to kill in a sleek white suit, he commanded the stage with a seamless blend of nostalgia, cheeky humour, and larger-than-life showmanship.

Williams bared his soul, sharing how his life transformed after meeting his wife Ayda, and having four children. Reflecting on his struggles with depression, addiction, and anxiety during his last visit to South Africa, he credited his fans with saving his life. “I needed to become human again,” he admitted, emphasizing the role of sobriety and fan support in his journey back from the brink.

The crowd erupted with delight as Robbie powered through a setlist of iconic hits, including Millennium, Love My Life, and Kids, seamlessly interwoven with a few surprise covers. He gave a playful nod to British pop history with a cheeky rendition of Oasis’ Don’t Look Back in Anger, while a heartfelt performance of She’s the One—dedicated to a fan named Michelle in the audience—moved many to tears and earned thunderous applause. Another unforgettable moment came when Robbie took a fan’s phone, recorded a video message for the fan’s daughter, and dedicated a song to her, leaving the crowd in awe. The evening’s emotional high point was a stirring medley of Rock DJ, Feel, and the timeless Angels, which left the arena utterly spellbound.

Between songs, Robbie’s signature charm lit up the room. He shared deeply personal stories of his highs and lows, poked fun at his “Take That” days, and bantered with fans, turning the massive arena into what felt like an intimate gathering.

As a cherry on top, fans were treated to an exclusive preview of Better Man, the highly anticipated biopic about Williams’ life, directed by Michael Gracey (The Greatest Showman). The film, which premiered in South Africa on Friday night, offers a bold, surreal take on fame, with a CGI chimpanzee symbolizing the artificiality of celebrity. The trailer promised a cinematic masterpiece blending Robbie’s raw truths with dazzling visuals and, of course, his greatest hits.

As the final notes rang out through the SunBet Arena, Robbie Williams proved once again that he’s not just a performer—he’s a phenomenon. From his towering stage presence to his heartfelt vulnerability, he reminded South Africa why he’s in a league of his own.

Concertgoer Desiree Wright, who has seen Robbie perform across the globe, described this show as “the most insightful look into his life and career.” Fellow fan Ulrika Roux called it “an unforgettable blend of comedy, cheekiness, and hit after hit.”

This was far more than just a concert—it was an artist baring his soul, a masterclass in resilience, and a powerful testament to the unifying magic of music. As Jeremy Snape, an enthusiastic fan at the arena, aptly put it: “If you missed it, you missed a moment of history.”

Does anyone know if Forbidden Road was on the South African setlist
Does anyone know if Forbidden Road was on the South African setlist

There was apparently no forbidden road in Calabash. I hope it is included on the new tour since the song had quite good crowd engagement on the smaller gigs. Better than Lost for example.

Looking at XXV drums I still suppose these SA concerts are not the part of Live 2015 Tour.

But anyway, Fobbidden Road better be included when the movie promoting is continuing. Again, it's a very good song.

It's ridiculous that he did not include Forbidden Road in the setlust especially as the movie is still being rolled out . It's a lovely song & very easy for an audience to grasp & sing along to. Karl is his musical director now & needs to get his act together. I get these gigs may be the end of the XXV tour but still he should take every opportunity that comes his way to promote the song 😌
and if it just continues to be the same songs on this tour with nothing new - then that will be very disappointing.

Danny Dyer lining up Robbie Williams to sing at daughter's wedding to Jarrod Bowen

Danny Dyer is lining up pop idol Robbie Williams to sing at his daughter Dani’s wedding to West Ham and England ace Jarrod Bowen. The EastEnders actor has become pals with the former Take That star and is calling in a favour after joining him on stage at a gig.

Danny, 47, revealed: “It would be cool as F, wouldn’t it? “I love him and he owes me a favour, because when I went and done his gig at Hyde Park, he said, ‘Look, listen, Dan, would you come and sing Parklife? “I was like, ‘Yeah, of course I will.’ And he went, ‘Honestly, that means I owe you a favour.’

“And so I did think, ‘Oh God, what could I ask him for a favour for?’ And then of course, I thought, ‘Well, my daughter’s getting married and what better way for her first dance to be him singing Angels?’”

Mum-of-three Dani, 28, told her dad on their Live and Let Dyers podcast she “would love it” if Robbie performs at her big day bash. She added: “I would love Robbie, because it’s always that thing, isn’t it, who are you going to have sing at your wedding? But Robbie would be great.

Danny joined Robbie, 50, on stage last summer to belt out a cover of Blur’s hit Parklife. He said: “It was a real exhilarating experience for me - 65,000 thousand people in Hyde Park. And of course, I was just surprised. I didn’t quite know how it was going to be.”

Danny also said that Robbie wanted a role in his new movie set Marching Powder which is set for release this year. B-)

The comedy-drama about a drug-addicted football hooligan who tries to turn his life around is the sequel to the 2004 movie The Football Factory.

He added: “He was gonna be in my film Marching Powder, we wrote a scene where I get thrown in a prison cell and he’s in the prison cell.

“I just felt it went a little bit too left-field. Do you know what I mean? I think it would have plucked everyone out of this sort of little story we’re trying to tell too much. “So we decided to not do it in the end, which Robbie totally understood. There’s a lot of love that oozes out of him, he is the most handsome man.”
