Ugh Backbone is so mediocre, was hoping it would fade away and give either Chappell or Billie their chance finally

the success of Backbone is really weird, is it cos of Stormzy? cos Baddadam was a million times better

 

it's like if The Prodigy had had a #1 with Girls instead of Firestarter/Breathe

I wouldn’t have thought Stormzy is a huge draw anymore. It’s definitely an example of an artist who deserves a #1 getting it with the wrong song.

I’m surprised that It Ends With Us isn’t having an impact on the charts considering how popular the film is doing in the cinemas. I was expecting Praise You and Skinny Love to be lingering around as a result. I wonder if Backbone will do enough to get a second week at the top? If not, then I want Birds Of A Feather to dethrone Backbone from #1
