    Geri in The Sunday Times:

    During her US promotion for her book, Geri's go-to answer for Spice Girls reunion questions is along the lines of "if something happens then it'll come from all of us", pretty much the same as what she said in that Sunday Times interview.

    She also sounded a bit more positive about it in one of the interviews, she said 'watch this space' with a smile in her face...

    From Geri's interview at Grazia Magazine:

    “Speaking of songwriting, no Spice fan worth their salt could leave a meeting with Geri without asking about potential plans for next year’s 30th anniversary, but we might have to wait a bit for news: ‘I am so grateful to every Spice Girls fan. They have showed up for me in this career, which is wonderful. That's so what heart-warming,’ she enthuses. ‘And I can understand the interest…what I will say, I think it's respectful to the other Spice Girls to come as one, to announce it as one. It’s our group, not my group.”

    I think that is the first time any of them has said there will be an announcement.

    The Sun newspaper is reporting that Simon Fuller is back on the team and that he is meeting with Geri next week in Miami to nail down a deal for a 2026 world tour. Obviously they state that Victoria wont be a part of the tour but that she is open to help with celebrations for the 30th anniversary...

    Take it with a pinch of salt of course, but....

    1) the Sun has been right most of the time as they seem to have exclusives and rumours from the girls team fed to them since like 2018 (though that hateful rag should be abolished!)

    2) Simon being on board would certainly fair well with a reunion. Its when they get together with Simon that things seem to flourish

    3) Lately there has been a LOT of Spice-related things popping up everywhere, which always ramp up a lot when reunions are being planned...

    4) Mel C has stated a few times they are indeed in talks about next year, though she has not giving details of course, and shame with Geri herself who has hinted at some plans being in development. These are often the two most reliable ones...

    Lets see what happens... I am feeling good about this one...

    Another 4 piece reunion purely for nostalgia, hmm. I mean, I'd take what I'm given, for sure. 4 is better than nothing, but also... I wonder how it would feel much different from 2019. Other than them finally visiting countries never reached before, it could just be more of the same...

    Obviously a 5 piece would make it extra special. We know 2026 marks 30 years since Wannabe, but it would also be 18 years since the last opportunity to see the 5 piece on tour. drama Victoria can't be forced of course, but gosh, if only she genuinely wanted to do it one more time. We've seen how the 4 piece did incredibly well with the 2019 tour but it would be incredibly exciting to see what the 5 could achieve together in 2026... I'm sure it would totally blow 2007/8 out of the water.
