same. I LOVED the original 4-piece and would love them to do something again if Geri doesn't want to.

Personally, I find that with Geri it would be more about the nostalgia whereas if the original 4 piece came back together it would be more about 'moving forward' somehow?...

A Forever Tour would be a f***ing dream lol but I don't think that would ever happen, sadly...

we were ROBBED of a Forever Tour in 2001! I was so ready for it to happen!!!

Christmas in Spiceworld was their Forever Tour 😄

I loved that tour though, and they all sounded amazing!

I don't see Victoria or Geri ever coming back on stage/tour to sing with the Spice Girls - at least, not anytime soon!

Not really... but some fans have pointed towards some UK-artists recent trips to South Korea to work with local Kpop artists...

Probably could be a part of a UK-South Korea project of internacional development of kpop? I could see these two being mentors of some sort

Sad it is most definitely not a Spice project though, urgh

Ewww!! Gross interview, as thet keep eating and licking fingers ALLL the way through it!!!

Edited by Big Fat Sue

Very cool to see that interview in full! All very down to earth but their personalities shine through. I'm wondering when this was, maybe September 96?

I think Wannabe had just gone #1 so it should be before September I'd think.

It's actually one of my favourite interviews of theirs. It's so freestyle and cool, and their bond shines through! I'm not bothered about the eating noises 😆

Anyone seen the Girls Aloud Chemistry 20th anniversary release today? It is the stuff of dreams that I would HOPE the Spice Girls get their shit together to do...

The Girls Aloud anniversary releases haven't sold as much as the Spice25/Spiceworld25 releases, as far as I know, and they STILL go all out with them... So much unreleased/new stuff....

The differences between the Girls Aloud and Spice Girls reissues are certainly immense. What I find particularly odd about it, is that both are through Universal Music - yet the outcome in quality is so different. Clearly when it comes to the level of care that goes into these releases, it’s very reliant on who is involved. It would appear that people with an understanding of what fans would want from a Girls Aloud reissue are indeed involved (it has become apparent that Nicola is hands on with it). Yet it’s evident this wasn’t the case for the Spice Girls. Even though on paper, a Girls Aloud album reissue is a niche endeavour - yet handled with care, whereas Spice Girls… literally the two biggest selling girl group albums of all time, handled horribly.

Honestly it’s wild how badly Spice Girls dropped the ball, particularly with Spiceworld. How do you mess up two huge albums like that? Easily, it seems! Like, not even including every B Side as a bare minimum is just crazy decision making. The cheaply recreated artwork. Sourcing pictures through fans who tidied up scans. The terrible quality of the live tracks. Ugh!

Yeah I wish the girls would be more involved, as it would certainly dedicate more quality - but also that the releases would be better promoted/more attention to them...

The b-sides ommission seems like they would probably keep the remaining ones for the next anniversary releases, or maybe they didnt think they would be worth it?...

Spiceworld25 was criminal, really. Probably one of the worst celebration-releases I have ever seen. Bsides the omission of unreleased tracks, I have no idea why they would think that the fake-metalic covers and the awful sound quality would fly...

I wish at least Mel C, Emma and Mel B were involved in these at the very least. Get them to go out and promote as well as picking the tracklists and covers...

We've only got the girls to thank for it. All 5 have to sign off and not all 5 will, they sadly have too much (pun intended) control.

this is how I found out that Universal is behind GIrl Aloud's re-releases too. Now, I'm even more pissed at our girls. WTF?

yeah it is such a clear issue with the girls themselves... what a tragedy
