April 20Apr 20 I think the only chance of it getting a release is if NS and Reason have sold well enough for RSD to pick it up. I think Melanie would be happy to fund that as it is guaranteed sales for her and I'm guessing partly funded. However I think she is reluctant to issue them herself sadly due to lack of funds which could be used elsewhere. Plus the new album is supposed to be coming this or next year.
June 16Jun 16 OK, I've got no interest in the voice whatsoever and won't be watching it at all, however, I LOVED that trailer! 😍Really hope this helps Melanie to reignite some interest in her solo career in Australia too, her last album was her highest charting since Northern Star, albeit she has only had two top 40 albums over there (three top 75 including Reason). Her achieving her highest peaking album would make this venture worth it (other than that nice pay out she is getting for it lol).
June 19Jun 19 For the love of god that album is taking forever and she keeps going back to recoreding Edited June 24Jun 24 by Hima22
June 23Jun 23 Just on my way home from seeing KT Tunstall at Royal Albert Hall tonight. Mel came on as a surprise guest and did "When You're Gone" and "I've Had The Time Of My Life" (off Dirty Dancing) with her! Natalie Imbruglia also came on and did "Torn" 😍
June 23Jun 23 I was at this too! It was such a lovely surprise to see Mel - loved when she inserted part of Stop into the second song too. Never thought I’d get to see Mel do When You’re Gone live! Such a great roster of guests - Rick Astley, Jools Holland and Roger Daltrey too. KT is so good, I love her (and her extensive contacts book 😂)First time I’ve even seen Natalie do Torn live too so that was a real moment.I had only paid £27 for a standing ticket and got upgraded to a seated box on the way in! So I really lucked out. Glad you had a great evening too.

She does indeed have an extensive contacts book 🤣Here's my videos from last night:
June 24Jun 24 Loved both videos, you can see they are having a ball and the audience is lapping it all up! Melanie was clearly BORN to be on the stage!

And then just as we were barely recovering from that - Natalie Imbruglia 🤣

We'll see soon enough, I guess.I also wonder what the new film project is all about.

July 26Jul 26 I've always wondered why she didn't shop around for a distribution deal to be honest, she is definitely the type of artist who would do really well with BMG for instance like Sophie Ellis Bextor, Louise and even Emma. I wondered if it was something for Australia seeing as she is appearing on The Voice there, would make sense with music later this year then too.Shall be interesting to find out. Also the film thing sounds random?

July 28Jul 28 A really good shout! Wonder if it would be a cameo or a proper rule. I just remember the quote from the first one "there's a reason Sport's the only one without a fella" eek
