Moving forward, for the future I would like the band to:

Play shows in Africa, South America, and Canada for the first time.

Las Vegas residency.

(Achieving these would mean all their fans worldwide would have had a chance to see them, and it means they did everything they could to connect with their audience)

A joint tour with New Kids on the Block. This has been mentioned over the years by NKOTB.

A joint tour with Backstreet Boys and/or a music collaboration. This has been mentioned over the years by BSB.

Have an Oscar nominated song. Rule The World was truly robbed that year of a nom and should have gone higher through the shortlist rounds and been nominated.

Reintroduce their back catalogue back into the mainstream, most notably through major films.

A new Christmas song to play yearly and become a staple.

Continue to release new albums and promote songs.

I would have said a Netflix documentary but that has been confirmed. It would be nice for them to get the footage of them on David Letterman and the Today show to remind the US audience of their hit. Plus the fact they were offered a spot on Baywatch, the biggest show in the world at the time.

Thoughts?

I'd like them to try a Christmas song.

I don't know if a Las Vegas residency is where their audience is. A residency at Wembley, certainly.

Having an Oscar nominated song is very much a lottery though.

New albums yeah but it's complicated. People aren't buying albums like they used to, hence people like Take That put more into touring than releasing stuff.

I wouldn't mind them having a go at a Christmas song either but ideally an upbeat song, i didn't hugely like Gary's solo Christmas album so i would def like a different style from Take That if they were to do a Christmas track.

This Life era came and went so fast and what's worse is I feel it might be around 2030 before we get another new album.

30th anniversary of Nobody Else album this year would have been perfect for a South American tour.

GONE FOR GOOD ! - TAKE THAT NETFLIX documentary see key group member fail to confirm he'll appear in new series about the boyband

He still communicates with the band, but on the whole, he is hard to contact, it's been revealed

JASON ORANGE doesn’t talk much these days but his old Take That bandmates are hoping to squeeze some words out of him for their new Netflix documentary.

I can reveal that Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald are trying to get their old bandmate on board for the special, made by Fulwell 73, the firm behind music docs on Ed Sheeran, Adele and Harry Styles.

The film, which was announced at the Edinburgh TV Festival last month, charts their rise from cheeky Manchester lads with big dreams to one of the biggest boybands in the world.

A TV insider told me: “The documentary was initially going to feature archive interviews from Jason.

“But there’s hope he could be persuaded to take part in the present day, which would be a real coup.

“The special is still in its early stages, and Fulwell 73 has yet to formally approach him, but this could change when the project starts to take shape and the lads have managed to work their magic.”

Jason quit the band in 2014 and totally removed himself from the spotlight. Indeed, the former boyband star has only been spotted fleetingly in the past few years, in coffee shops. But last week he was seen enjoying a drink outside The Ivy restaurant in London.

His close bandmate Howard revealed last year that Jason still communicates with the band, especially when they release new music, but on the whole, he is hard to contact.
