Just caught her GN performance.

Her vocals sounded good but I’m not really sure she has that main pop girl energy.

She was incredible in LM her performances never seemed lacklustre but on her own something just isn’t working it all seems very bland to me (Except the music video for this)

Also, not sure if anyone agree’s but her mic seemed really quiet in places.

It did feel weird seeing her on her own, the performance was kinda blah until she started belting!

I loved when she showcased her vocals though but I don’t like when artists just stand there.

I much preferred her performance at her event tonight as she was walking about and probably because she was more comfortable and looked like she was having fun.

I actually think the song is perfectly catchy and cute, if a little faceless. And the video is great. But that Graham Norton performance was pretty bad, she felt completely drowned out by the band and backing singers.

I like the new single, enjoyed seeing her on the Graham Norton show which what used to be the TOTP studio in 1988/89 as mentioned when they showed

the Buffalo Stance clip.

The performance was... fine for a TV show I guess. She sounds incredible! I do wish it was more in line with the video though. The video gave me false hope we'd get that as a performance

EDIT: The song gives me Walk The Moon vibes... and I mean that positively. It's infectious, catchy and honestly... I'm kinda obsessed atm..

'Me, Myself & You' is really nice. It still lacks that something though and I think it's the "ballad belt" we should be getting in a final, key-change chorus. It kinda just ends.

It's really lovely though.

I’m genuinely obsessed with this song. Love it the more I listen, I blame the chorus and the incredible video!

Haven’t heard the ballad yet!

Missed the top 200 on UK Spotify. :drama:

The UK public just aren't here for faceless, generic pop bops. The pop that has really broken through this year are the ones with significant amounts of personality (Sabrina, Chappell, even JADE herself, Charli etc..) this would have resonated better in the mid-10's I think.

OUCH where does she go from here?

I’m struggling to think she’ll ever get a hit now.

I am finding though the UK playlists almost seem pointless now, they have very little effect compared to all the international playlists.

It really does seem really hard for UK acts to breakthrough (Even JADE whilst doing amazing it did fall pretty fast on Spotify because it wasn’t on any of the international playlists)

Yeah. AM playlists are Geo-blocked I believe, hence why UK artists tend to do better with new songs there.

Unless your track takes off on Tik Tok or you've had a hit globally in the last couple of years, you'll struggle on playlisting for Spotify :drama:

I think you hit the nail on the head there. It’s just too dated and mediocre in all honesty.

I agree that generic faceless pop just doesn't hit the same way anymore. I feel for Perrie because I don't think anything she's released is bad by any means, but with TikTok and how short everyone's attention spans are now, you really have to be making something that feels exciting and that's the biggest thing that Perrie is lacking. Perrie is so charismatic in interviews but that isn't translating into her music.

The more she performs like this too the less likely it is we’re gonna get an actual album

An EP might end up happening perhaps but it’s sad that this has been the case for her because the voice is there, personality is there but something just isn’t quite hitting the mark and it seems to be the common opinion from each three releases. I do think all three of the tracks so far sound a bit dated but they could also be by anybody they don’t distinctively feel like Perrie unless I knew it was her it could honestly be a track by anybody.

I’d personally love to see her in a west end role if the album doesn’t materialise (I think this singles performance is likely a big decider on things going forward). We’ll see what happens! I could potentially see Perrie getting some charting hits as a featured act perhaps (ala Ella Henderson) but there’s something about solo Perrie what hasn’t excited me yet.

Yeah she definitely won't release an album just like Leigh-Anne.

Too much flops.
