Actually I was also thinking Timebomb somehow! Love Timebomb, so it’s a really good thing to me.

Don’t expect anything big chart-wise, I’ll just be happy receiving new music so soon and with a tour hopefully in Mexico too before July!

I don’t expect much, but based on the snippet, it might do well!

I was a little unsure of the song at first but listening to the clip a few more times I quite like it.......

Fingers crossed it does well and gets some good NMF playlistings

I severely over predicted ‘ Edge of Saturday Night ‘ and I was not massively impressed with ‘My Oh My’ - so I’ll be happy with whatever this has to offer in sound and chart performance - only gripe is the length of it !
I quite like it after a few listens but it sounds a bit dated and her vocals sound heavily over processed in parts. I can’t see it being a big hit like Padam unless it gets more attention on social media.

never understand people complaining about length of song......

you will get different versions to suit your liking. That is how songs are, we have to move on with the times.

Its no point her singing a 7 min song and literally not being consumed by anyone because streaming platforms etc will not play it

Havent seen any of the video yet but they are never going to throw money out like they used to on videos. Padam was cheap but it got public interest, lets hope this is the same.

We don't need a 7 minute version  Also a slightly extended version wouldn't necessarily include a 3rd chorus and a middle-8 (although I accepted this with 'Padam' in the end and that song probably does work better as a short sharp shock)

I kind of hate this trend overall though, it's because people these days are simple and have short attention spans. The ultimate pisstake was the Tiesto/Charli XCX track's "extended" version still being less than 3 minutes!

She is in The One Show next week. Guessing Friday

Lets hope she performs

I mean she couldn't sing the song if it was any other day as it won't be released..... unless its just a clip and a push for ticket sales on a Thursday

will probably get a mention on Lorraine also

It's funny that even the Tension "Extension" album has a shorter run time than 'Kylie Minogue' (self-titled 1994 album)

If a song can do all it really needs to do within 3 minutes then I'm not against it being short - but there are a lot of sub 3 minute songs that feel short for the sake of being short, and would have greatly benefited from something added to it - which makes them frustrating listens. With 9 out of 13 songs being below 3 minutes on Tension, I am a little nervous about that... but we shall see (well, hear x).

I'm not all that convinced that Kylie's streams will be any stronger at the lengths they are, than if each song had been upwards of a minute longer each. So if the short lengths are in mind of doing well on streaming rather than being on artistic merit, that's a bit of a shame.

I was heavily invested in EoSN and was deeply disappointed that it didn't do anything, so with this one I am just going to take the attitude of "If it charts, it charts. if it doesn't. it doesn't"

Much as I'd love to still have hope, it's been out for 6 weeks and i feel like if it was gonna do something it would have shown signs by now.

I think the same unless we get a late surprise.

Well it was Kiss FM track of the week last week so there is no hurry.

TBM put another track out on Friday

I mean Kylie could well do some sort of medley on Strictly for instance with both Lights Camera Action and EOSN.

It's getting 80k Spotify streams still and probably a good % are from Euroep this time rather than US that boosted songs like PP.

They all add up

It's current Spotify reach is 32.5m and has grown. Only when it was on NMF lists in week one did it have a higher reach.

You just never know with club songs, it could be big next summer for all we know lol
