October 18, 2024Oct 18 Author Debuts at #7, becoming Charli's 9th top 10 hit :cheer: Previously No.56 as a solo track from the original Brat album in June, Sympathy Is A Knife returns to the chart at No.7 (25,022 sales) for Charli XCX, with the majority of consumption coming from the Ariana Grande duet version which is on the new Brat And It’s Completely Different But Also Still Brat edition of the set. Grande’s name is added to the song in line with the OCC rule that credits can be amended until a track makes the Top 40. It becomes XCX’s ninth Top 10 entry, Grande’s 23rd.

October 27, 2024Oct 27 Is it bad that I think the last 30 seconds completely blows the rest of the song out of the water.  Maybe i'm just too in love with the original and it'll grow on me but I don't think it's that epic until it gets to the breakdown. Hope it smashes regardless. Issa knife when you overlook the remix for too long and now you recongnise it absolutley slaps but the rest of the public have already given up with it. :(
