It is an older song from Tove Lo - when I started doing these charts two years ago, I decided to exclude anything that made my top 100 most played of 2022 or that was more than 3 years old, but although this one didn't quite and wasn't, I'd sort of moved on from it then - however it has certainly aged well and it felt right to chart it now, before it does reach 3 years old! Hope you've had a great Christmas ^_^

Cannot wait for the new album in March :cheer: I was intrigued to see whether you'd be into 'Leash' as I remember you enjoying 'Don't Forget' a couple of years ago and indeed it's made a strong impression for you too, yay :wub: the lyrics are great and her synth production is on point as ever. 'No One Dies From Love' is a pleasant surprise in your top 10 (just saw your response to Sergej about that - fair!), absolute top tier 'sad banger' in recent times. Plenty of goodies outside your top 10 as well - 'UPWARDS', '1996 Expectations', 'Sympathy is a knife', 'Perfect Stranger', 'Full Way Round' etc. - great chart as ever!

I've made several attempts to get into 'The Silence That Remains' and strangely haven't quite succeeded as yet, however 'Lotus Eater' was a revelation for me - the sound grabbed me instantly, and the song's epic nature with those shifts in the music and the existential lyrics made it a late-year favourite. Will look out for the album! Yes I discovered 'Don't Forget' from your 2022 EOY, and I'm so glad to hear more from Sky :wub: hopefully that second album might have inched a little closer. 'No One Dies From Love' deserved no less than to match the peaks I gave 'Bordeline' and 'I like u' in my 2023 weekly charts. Glad you like plenty of others here too! Very happy to see 'No One Noticed' taking off (slowly in the UK so far, but there's time), and Simple Minds still able to produce great music (as with Pet Shop Boys, OMD, etc.) 13 of the other songs are from the last BJSC (I only chart songs from the last 3-5 years, otherwise The Jackson Sisters would be high up), so hopefully you'll know at least 15/40, which is more than many I expect! Hope you're having a great weekend ^_^
