It wouldn't be changing the cars just for one track. Hungary, Jeddha, Barcelona, Singapore, Miami, Suzuka, Imola all have problems delivering overtaking. You would improve the racing across the board.

  • It was hit and miss. For the hardcore fans who hate the overall commercialisation of the sport in the past 10 years it would have been a nightmare but generally it was a perfectly serviceable event. A

  • I went to the exhibition when it was in Madrid and found it to be great! Was a nice way to spend a few hours. And that trip was bookended by a trip to Fernando Alonso’s museum in Oviedo to see the hol

It'll be interesting to see how the Sprint goes I guess. I understand both McLaren's wasted the opportunity to lock out the front row.

What will the Italian press say now then? What a masterclass from Lewis there. Never been happier to wake up at 2:45 🙌

Winning a sprint will buy him some favour but at the end of the day nobody really places any value on them. What he does in the races is what matters.

He has the pace to win tomorrow, though. If he does he'll start to win them over.

was expecting more from Ferrari in the Qualy, not sure what happened there

feel really sorry for Lawson...

I see people are already calling for Lawson to be axed.

I have the same philosophy I have with ordinary jobs - if someone isn’t performing you give them time/focus to see if they can improve. It can’t just be Liam as he was performing better in an RB before. I hope he gets himself into the points tomorrow to relieve some of the pressure

That being said, it still should have been Yuki in that seat

the RB looks better than the Red Bull so far, maybe Tsunoda doesn't wanna change :D

What time is this race? I missed the 1st race. So far Ferrari underperforming but this is Hamilton’s favourite track

Good start for the 2 McLarens, Verstappen struggling

One more lap and Norris probably wouldn’t have finished and Hamilton would have caught Leclerc. Fine margins. Pretty average race overall.

Yeah not quite the thrills and spills of last weekend but Shanghai seldom delivers brilliant racing. Haas going from comfortably the slowest car last race to double points is a mega turnaround for them meanwhile RB absolutely tanked on the strategy for the second weekend in a row.

Hamilton, Leclerc and Gasly have all been disqualified for being underweight post race.

Oh my catastrophic for Ferrari!!!! Finishing 5th & 6th was bad enough... but this is next level bad

Ferrari absolutely in the mud, delete the season and start again.

Funny how it's always them 2 just like in Austin a few seasons ago.

Wow Reb Bull actually going ahead with the Yuki / Liam switch then ahead of Japan. Kinda egg on their face whatever happens now then!

Is this confirmed? seems a tad premature

But what happens if Yuki finds himself in a similar position? (qualifies and finishes the race lower than he has been in an RB)

Kind of hope that does happen to highlight the problem Red Bull has currently (car is nowhere near McLaren)

I'm 99% certain that is exactly what will happen and then Lawson will have a stormer in the sister car. Honestly maybe bringing back Danny Ric was the play as he's the only one who has been able to tame that Red Bull aside from Max.
