  • There's also quite a few drivers who had multiple poles but didn't convert any of them to wins e.g.: Chris Amon - 5 pole positions but never won a race Keke Rosberg - 5 pole positions and 5 victories

It wouldn't be changing the cars just for one track. Hungary, Jeddha, Barcelona, Singapore, Miami, Suzuka, Imola all have problems delivering overtaking. You would improve the racing across the board.

Hamilton, Alonso and Antonelli will all start from the pitlane after changing their PUs.

Rain before the start and likely showers during the race will hopefully prevent a repeat of yesterday's very predictable result. Otherwise, if it's dry I expect Oscar to be leading by Les Combes

Lewis Hamilton visited Mercedes hospitality this morning, reportedly to show his support for a clearly emotional Kimi Antonelli after another difficult weekend.

They only started behind the safety car so they can start the clock before red flagging.

A bit of a farce. They should wait.

Didn’t they use to race in rain all the time now it’s always safety car

Probably because of what happened with Jules Bianchi back in 2014.

They basically will only let them race if it’s completely dry it’s ridiculous

Impressed with Piastri. His tyre management was a weakness 18 months ago

Feel for Tsunoda - he was surely on for some good points today and got screwed over by the strategy

Also fuming that Sauber bought Nico in and cost him 10th

Didn't manage to catch this live but was keeping up with updates and definitely thought we were on for another 2021 situation at one point!

Looks like I didn't miss too much. For once I can understand why they were overly cautious about wet racing as Spa is the most dangerous circuit in the world but the rain actually killed off any chances of an interesting race as it became a very simple wet to dry procession. Great recovery drive from Lewis but he really shouldn't have been so low down in the first place. Oscar putting his stamp over Lando convincingly this weekend.

Must be the first ever wet race to have zero retirements?
