Posted January 9Jan 9 New music is releasing on Jan 17th! Sounds like they’re going back to their roots with this one. View this post on Instagram
January 9Jan 9 oh finally! I remember there was a sorta comeback song a while ago but we need a proper album and if it's back to roots that would be preferred!!!
January 9Jan 9 Author Yeah, they released ‘Good People’ with Pharrell Williams last year - that was just a promo song thing for Pharrell’s fashion shows though.
January 15Jan 15 Author Great news! Co-produced by Dave Cobb, who also produced fantastic recent albums by Chris Stapleton & The Red Clay Strays. Looking forward to the lead single on Friday.
January 16Jan 16 Author The title track 'Rushmere' is out tomorrow, and the full tracklist is: 1. Malibu 2. Caroline 3. Rushmere 4. Monochrome 5. Truth 6. Where It Belongs 7. Anchor 8. Surrender 9. Blood On The Page (feat. Madison Cunningham) 10. Carry On
January 18Jan 18 Author Yeah it’s a great return! Already better than anything from their last album I think, and I really enjoyed a few singles from that.
January 18Jan 18 Im mostly a fan of album 1 Their folkish sound got too diluted by albums 3 and 4 I know theyre a band easy to laugh at but I really like them
January 21Jan 21 Author At #77 in today’s update - seems to be rising on the Apple Music chart though.
January 21Jan 21 Author Where did their last lead debut? 'Guiding Light' got to #40 - all the way back in 2018!
January 21Jan 21 looking at their singles discography, just 5 top 40 hits, Winter Winds missing the top 40 :/ Albums discography is much better although the sales downwards trend is worrisome. Little Lion Man/24 Winter Winds/44 The Cave/31 Timshel/71 I Will Wait/12 Babel/76 The Boxer/97 Believe/20 The Wolf/56 Snake Eyes/60 Tompkins Square Park/86 Ditmas/83 There will be time/100 Guiding light/40 Beloved/66 42/91 albums Sigh no more/2 (1,850K) Babel/1 (1,200K) Wilder mind/1 (425K) Delta/2 (135K)
January 21Jan 21 Author Album sales are what I expect really, the first two are by far their most popular.
January 21Jan 21 I'd forgotten that they got a top 40 hit at all off the last album too - it does feel like their relevance tailed off quite rapidly beyond the second album!
