I’m surprised Now You See Me Now You Don’t managed to beat The Running Man to number 1 at the UK box office despite the latter being overhyped and having a one day head start. I reckon Running Man being the secret screening the previous Saturday is what ruined the sales at the box office; People who booked both the secret screening and the Running Man would’ve cancelled their bookings for the latter when they discovered that the latter was the secret screening

That is an impressive 47 films in cinema alone. A Real Pain and Hard Truths are two of the best of the year, Jesse Eisenberg made something special and Marianne Jean-Baptiste is long overdue that kind of recognition. Curious what you thought of Mickey 17 as it seemed to divide people compared to Bong Joon-ho's previous work. Flow is a remarkable piece of filmmaking and Wicked For Good being on the list means you are right up to date. What has been your standout of the year so far?
