Consequence lists Lady Gaga’s “Abracadabra” as the 2nd best song of 2025 so far: “For the last decade, Lady Gaga has asserted herself as an actress. She’s always toyed with scale and theatricality,

I’ve added up the streaming numbers and it’s down on last week overall.

Sadly I think it’s run in the top 10/15 over but I’d love it to avoid ACR somehow.

Gaga’s team are incredibly dumb for not releasing physical CDs or variants for this song. Again, her management are terrible at planning and Bobby needs fired.

Exactly! Cassette, 7" and CD would have helped secured her a number 1 alongside the album! Especially if it had an exclusive remix / Acoustic or something.

EDIT - Actually maybe not because she needed 9k but definitely could of been 2.

Sales don't affect the ACR status though.

I think the OP was just saying it’s baffling how it never got a physical release in general.

Single number 4 please in conjunction with Coachella. NO EXCEPTION.

I sound like Adelita these days 🥹🥹

Was actually so close to avoiding ACR!

But 8 weeks top ten is huge and likely way more than we’d have anticipated pre release so I’m happy with its success!

This is the 2nd most popular single released in 2025 in the UK (behind Alex Warren's Ordinary). Sports Car is around the same sales and will overtake but nothing else seems even close at this point.

This is the kind of ACR drop I hate. Not just because it's Gaga, but because a #12 to #40 drop after spending 9 weeks in the upper reaches is so odd.

A phased ACR would be so much better for chart runs (not that it makes that much difference)

It has lost a lot of streams, but looks like radio is starting to get on board with it now (with Die With A Smile losing quite rapidly now).

One can wish it goes Top 10 (it should’ve on its second week but Kendrick sabotaged it…).
