Posted January 28Jan 28 Oh, there is some new unofficial documentary of Take That has been published on YT earlier today! That's cool when you're sitting to watch TT doc but at first 2 minutes watching your favourite band (Depeche Mode) instead  I don't think some of you who follow TT would see anything new but in overall it's a simple doc and good to see and get some thoughts from boys messages. Be-kfJThLm0 In the 80s, the biggest British boyband was Wham! 5 UK Number Ones, they broke America and then broke up. Afterwards George Michael went on to be a very big popstar, and other Wham! member Andrew Ridgeley did not. It set in the pop-consuming public’s minds that only one member can win a boyband breakup. In the 90s, Take That were the biggest British boyband. The five working-class lads from the North of England earned 8 UK Number Ones in three years. January 28Jan 28 I watched it and thought it was really good. I have never classed Wham! as a boyband as they were a duo and I always thought there had to be at least three for a boyband group. I'm so glad Chris Porter persisted with Gary to go back to the piano and away from the New Jack Swing and dance routines. 8 number one singles in three years is crazy (93-96), the Spice Girls did 8 in four years (96-00). The Beatles 17 in six years (63-69) Elvis 15 in eight years (57-65) Westlife 14 in seven years (99-06) Boyzone 6 in four years (96-00) Edited January 28Jan 28 by nirvanamusic
