What a result for Wicked I followed the discourse surrounding the film for a few years pre-release due to Ariana's involvement and there was a lot of scepticism. Plenty of fans were concerned about it being split into two parts and Ariana's casting. Thankfully they stuck the landing with Ari and those worries over the storytelling melted away too. Far from a flop in the end!

Shall be interesting to see how the sequel performs indeed.

Happy to see Wicked end up as the biggest film of the year. I did see the top two at the cinema and I definitely thought Wicked was the better of the two... Inside Out 3 was a nice film but I was a bit underwhelmed (maybe too high expectations) where as I didn't have too high expectations about Wicked and I ended up loving every minute of it - it was miles better than I would have ever anticipated it would be and a very worthy winner here
