  • I hope to read some facts about making music with the girls and her solo record.

  • If anyone is playing safe it’ll be the editors. Or Keisha if she got a chance to pre-read it

  • My copy arrived in Germany today. I devoured the book immediately. It’s very light on Sugababes drama and gossip but all the better for it. She’s been through a lot, more than anyone could ever have

My copy arrived in Germany today. I devoured the book immediately.

It’s very light on Sugababes drama and gossip but all the better for it. She’s been through a lot, more than anyone could ever have guessed.

What's the Sugababes stuff you can tell us about?

I'm only up to chapter 4 but nothing of note yet. Just some early memories of signing to London Records.

I'm over half way through now and it's just heartbreaking to hear/read what Mutya went through over the years.

There is very little tbh. No details on the battle to return the name but we did get a lot about why she left and where her mind was.

This is very much focused on her as a person and not an autobiography of the Sugababes

It’s not al about the Sugababes, but that’s ok with me. I did find the stuff about her solo career interesting.

book ordered but i won’t read until i am sitting on a beach next year

I found the book overall boring. There were some interesting bits, but overall nothing special. This is a book only for hardcore Mutya fans.

I understand that, but at the same time I don’t believe it was ever billed as a Sugababes history book. It covered her time with the group from early days to departure and her brief solo career. It also covered her life before, during and after her initial time with the Sugababes.

I found it all so eye opening, she went through so much.

Not really sure how you can be bored by it

I found it so interesting to see what was happening in her life and her opening up about her addiction issues and domestic abuse situations and what she’s gone through to be standing here today. It was her autobiography so of course it focuses on her and not the band. I couldn’t put it down and finished it in one evening

I see so much of her solo material in a new light. Especially the leaked demos like addiction and dark side

I was the same, well for the audiobook. I listened to it all in on sitting.
