On the topic of platinum songs that didn't reach the top 40, I suspect that we'll be seeing these two Christmas songs join the list this year:

Britney Spears - My Only Wish (This Year)

Mariah Carey - Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)

They would mark Britney's first entry and Mariah's second entry on this list.

Britney was around 7k sales away on the final week of 2025, if her stans did a campaign it could probably go platinum before December!

@gasman449 "9 To 5" could be removed from this list soon. We'll have to wait and see.
