April 7Apr 7 'Hampstead' is really lovely, gorgeous in fact. her theatrical vocals really shine on it too. I guess I just haven't been in the mood for piano ballads, I'm imagining it sounds better in Winter if that makes sense. (Streams 11).Wow what a wonderful closer.

April 10Apr 10 Missed this at the time but basically here’s my thoughts as a whole!Intro / end of the world - weirdly I kinda love the intro but the extended version less so. Idk the intro works perfect that I don’t think it needed the extra parts but a nice way to begin the album. bye - POP Ariana! I’ve always liked it and it was nice hearing POP Ariana right at the start of the album as the positions album didn’t offer much of that sound. I think this could pop off on a future tour. don’t wanna break up again - This is one of my favourites from the era overall now. I don’t think it was at the time (like a year ago) but it’s held up and I go back to this a lot on its own. Saturn returns interlude - not much to critique or praise but works well within its placement on the album!eternal sunshine - This was my biggest grower. Initially it was the track i went to least on its own but now I get it!supernatural - Single what never was! Love love love. This now remains a golden album track but this is one I go back to a lot. true story - My day one favourite from the album tracks. Her vocals on this are my favourite from the standard album too! This is one I return to a lot on its own. the boy is mine - I appreciate this one a lot! Wished it smashed more as a single but it goes off and the production really works here too. yes, and? - I still don’t think it’s an album highlight but I like it more now! at the time I was quite lukewarm to this especially with it being a lead single. It’s probably my least favourite of her leads though. we can’t be friends - wow wow wow. This is golden Ariana all around. My first listen of this was with the music video and it still just always gets to me. One of her very very best songs and music videos. I wish I hated you - this is the kind of music from her I love. Understated production and her voice tells so much without her belting or going overboard with the vocals. A gorgeous moment. imperfect for you - I love this one like Jade! It’s kinda different production style wise for her but lyrically I like this one and I can see why it’s a favourite of hers. ordinary things - A lovely way to close the standard album and Nonnas moment!twilight zone - A nice track for sure! Can see why this was the focus track from the deluxe but it’s not my favourite. I do like the lyrics and theme to the track though very fitting to what’s on the standard.warm - Again this again fits the theme really well. It’s one I imagine having a nice Autumn esque vibes visual too. dandelion - Ok! This is a HIT. It’s probably the least eternal sunshine esque track though could easily be on Dangerous Woman or thank u, next but this will forever be a favourite for me. Hope it tracks up streams and so happy it did chart. This as a focus track would’ve been a dream!past life - the BELTS!! This is true story’s sister in a sense. Love her voice on this and this is one of my overall favourites not just delxue wise!Hampstead - This is one of her best ballads for me! I love this! It was really instant for me and again love how her voice tells the story of the song but doesn’t necessarily do too much! A moment for sure hopefully one we hear live one day on a tour!Overall I may be inclined to say this could be my favourite Ariana album yet! Sweetener had the crown but that album had the light is coming and a bizarre tracklist order where as thus doesn’t have much of anything to critique and now with the deluxe it feels so complete and it flows really well too!Robbed of a Grammy win for this too I’d say! we can’t be friends deserved nods for Pop solo and music video too (brighter days short film to hopefully make this a Grammy winner!).
