He’s simply not good enough whether that be 15 mill or something higher but those figures are just outrageous

Man Utd history with Brazilians is not amazing but he fits perfect for Amorim’s system. Sancho’s style suits European football not premier league football. Cunha is a proper premier league player

Casemiro wouldn't even get into Southampton's team, worst midfielder in the league.

Jackson is exactly the type of player Man Utd should be targeting - just not at that price. He's clearly a really good player, he's just incredibly raw and needs to be coached. No way anyone is paying that for Jackson, but for £50m I think it's a really good deal in this current Market.

If this were to happen, this is the price Chelsea want to charge for him...

That should hopefully keep United away from him as they won't be dumb enough to pay that much for a flop like him.

Dumb enough? 🤣

He's got 8 years left on his contract! No wonder Chelsea can call the shots unless there's some buy-out clause deep within the contract. Either way, we have better options for more reasonable terms.

Who are the better options though? - Nobody is going to buy Jackson for £80m, but £50m would be a great price.

Gone for last minute tries with Etikete and Gyokeres! Sounds like a last minute panic buy is incoming. Someone might end up with Sesko last minute or overpay for Watkins.

I'm still holding out for a bid for Mateta. There was plenty of noise around him being of interest to United at the start of the window.

Crazy take. He’s 24 and average that’s why Chelsea want to sell him. £50 mill please. He’s barely premier league standard

He’s scored consistently throughout his career and hits purple patches. Clearly a talented player there if someone can coach him to be consistent. Like most Chelsea players, his form dropped off a cliff in the second half of the season.

What consistency in scoring are you seeing? Only club he scored okay at was Chelsea and he cost them about 15 points by missed countless chances palmer and co put in a plate for him

1 in 20 at international level is absolutely rancid, makes Emile Heskey's England career look prolific 🤣

He’s only 23-24 and he’s a 1 in 2.75 striker pretty much at Chelsea with room for improvement. Thats fairly common unless you’re an absolute elite striker.

He’s a good player, sometimes players just need a fresh. I get the Hojlund debate but he’s also just as good with a higher ceiling as every other striker on the market with resale value for the future as well.

Either way, we aren't going to make any more big money signings until the trash is taken out. Rashford on his way from tomorrow, and hopefully others to follow to free up funds.

Here is the squad that Amorim has chosen to take to the States for the pre-season tour;

Well he’s 24 and one month land his stats would be promising for a 21 yr old. You can see his career trajectory.

He probably looked good with potential. Villarreal took a chance on him and he got 14 goals and has a decent season so Chelsea took a risk and overpaid hoping he might be a gem. But he wasn’t. He proved to be a liability more than a strength and just decent but not good enough. How does that get you a £50 mill move to Man Utd? No chance. He’s not good enough for a top club. There is a striker problem out there but I don’t think the response should be overpaying for mid level players. In the long term that will never work out well.

I think Man Utd should stick with academy or youth prospects unless a genuinely good option is out there

Barcelona are currently unable to register Marcus Rashford - or any of their new summer signings - due to LaLiga's financial rules.

The Spanish champions are deemed to have spent more on signings and wages than they made in revenue for the 2024/25 season.

They have this same issue with every new signing. Bizarrely run club

Not every player develops at the same rate though, heck look at Gyokeres who’s just got a big money move. Even someone like Dembele was absolutely bang average after his big money move from Dortmund.

I just don’t think he’s as bad as he’s being made out to be. There’s a good player in there and he’s exactly the type of player who should be under priced but with a higher ceiling. This is what Liverpool do (Salah, Coutinho, Sturridge, Robertson, Gravenberch) with various opportunities when they came on to the market.

We would be better off putting Harry Maguire up front than Jackson.
