Give him a chance lol

You don't spend that amount of money on a striker to have him sat on the bench. He's quite clearly very, very raw and actually, not that good. But also not sure Amorim really fancies him as an option at the moment. I just feel as a striker you're always under pressure. Look at Nunez. It's a target across the backs and its what Woltmade will have as well.

Anyway, big 3 points today although you fear the damage is already done.

Man Utd history with Brazilians is not amazing but he fits perfect for Amorim’s system. Sancho’s style suits European football not premier league football. Cunha is a proper premier league player

How can a 70m striker take the 10th penalty against a league two side? Embarrassing!

Casemiro wouldn't even get into Southampton's team, worst midfielder in the league.

If they didn’t get three points today he would be gone.

Looking at the difference in finishing in Nunez and Ekeite it’s not comparable, look at the bournmouth goal, Darwin would have done all the hard work and blasted the ball over the bar in that instance and the same vs Newcastle!

Indeed. But I also think this is why Arsenal and Liverpool swerved on Sesko. He is so raw, could be absolutely amazing, but could also be a complete donkey,

Which is why I am glad they won. Just have to look at the replies on here! So many fans have already seen enough and I can see why. The 3 points here just put off the inevitable imo.

I don’t think he’s done necessarily it takes time to gel his system but he may not get the time. He’s also too much of an ideologue to survive at such a big pressurised club in terms of his system. He will sometimes skew it to make a diamond formation but the big mistake this summer was not just selling Bruno to Saudi Arabia after bribing Cunha in, both are no10 a and Bruno is wasted in defensive midfield in that system. He’s 30 and 100m for him would be good business for me.

Man Utd wanted to sell Bruno, but he didn't want to go. It's a mechanism of the club offering daft contracts over the years, like see there inability to shift Anthony and Sancho.

The issue with the system he plays is you need the players, which of course he doesn't have. And the system he plays is horrendously overrated. He's had almost a year and if anything, Man Utd look worse. The international break has probably come at a great time, but the fixtures after look horrendous. Usually they play OK in the big games, but I reckon two losses against City and Chelsea and he's toast.

Rasmus Hojlund has completed his medical ahead of his move from Manchester United to Napoli.

The deal is a loan plus a conditional obligation worth £43m (€50m).

Must be the first time in Amorim's whole tenure that we're top half of the table 😆

Not only that we're finishing the weekend above City! Pep for the chop then?
