Also wasn't expecting to see Vicky McClure's name ever pop up on the playlist but there we go (the song isn't my cup of tea unfortunately).Not much else of interest for me this week. I'm surprised that R1 and R2 are both ignoring new Ed!!

August 24Aug 24 They can play the music if it's been serviced to them. Perhaps it's a promotional idea from the label to drum up interest in the album. She's also a performer at Radio 2 in the Park in a couple of weeks too so could also be why it's getting early support.

August 29Aug 29 Author That A List is starting to look quite static - hopefully we get some good movement soon. Would be nice to see sombr moved up at least. Good to see adds for Olivia Dean and Jessie J this week. I was hoping to see Sigrid added this week, she was played as a New to 2 track earlier in the week so they shouldn't be adverse to playlisting it!
