Oop I decided I wanted to post a roundup of national records matched/expanded since the last time I posted a full update first, which was a lot longer ago than I realised, and I kept getting myself confused while trying to compile that data so I gave up for the night kink I actually modified my spreadsheet a bit to make it easier to look up historical streak records so here is my second attempt to dump all of that data, sorry if it's not the easiest thing to follow, trying to condense a lot of data into one relatively succinct post xx

Countries who matched or expanded their (consecutive) national record Q streaks at least once from BJSC 162 to BJSC 173 (i.e. since I last posted a full regular update in BJSC 161):

Abeltesfayeton: expanded existing record of 3 to 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8 in BJSCs 162-166

The following also matched or exceeded their previous national record Q streaks during this period when counting nonconsecutive participations:

Ajanaeda: previous record of 3 set (consecutively) in BJSCs 68-70, matched with BJSCs 115 & 162-163, expanded to 4 in BJSC 164 (subsequent consecutive streak caught up to this with BJSCs 166-169 as above so records from BJSC 170 onwards have been in sync)

Cadelicia: previous record of 9 set (consecutively) in BJSCs 103-111, matched with BJSCs 147, 154, 156-161 & 163, expanded to 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 & 16 in BJSCs 164-170 (consecutive record remains at 9)

Conoria: previous record of 2 set (consecutively) in BJSCs 160-161, expanded to 3 with BJSC 163 (consecutive record remains at 2)

Hendinia: expanded existing record of 46 to 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57 & 58 in BJSCs 162-173 (consecutive record also broken in all of these contests as above)

Singerpurear: previous record of 6 set (consecutively) in BJSCs 76-81, matched with BJSCs 164-168 & 170

Taahino: previous record of 10 set (consecutively) in BJSCs 78-87, matched with BJSCs 155 & 158-166, expanded to 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 & 16 in BJSCs 167-172 (consecutive record also matched/broken in all but the first of these contests as above)

Utopia: previous record of 6 set (consecutively) in BJSCs 127-132, matched with BJSCs 158-161, 165 & 168, expanded to 7 with BJSC 170 (consecutive record remains at 6)

Obviously Hendinia have remained at #1 on the Q streak list this entire time. At the time of the last full update Cor Lupus were 2nd and Cumulonimbia 3rd. Cor Lupus lost their streak in BJSC 164 so Cumulonimbia moved up to 2nd and Kathaldazia to 3rd. Then Cumulonimbia also lost their streak in BJSC 165 so Kathaldazia moved up to 2nd and Aeroche to 3rd, which remained the case up to last contest (but of course we have another change in the podium this month with Kathaldazia now losing their streak).

Hendinia's eternal streak still shows no sign of giving up and their lead over the pack becomes even larger as their previous closest competitor Kathaldazia drop out, Aeroche rise into 2nd place but a full 35 contests behind Hendinia (40 behind in the nonconsecutive tally, with Hendinia as ever expanding their current record in both categories). For perspective, FSR Rontvia and Aeroche are the only other countries who have ever got to a streak of 35 at all let alone with the 19 extra contests Hendinia have on top of that! Danæviia now ascend to the podium in 3rd place while also expanding their own current record.

Greenfroze and Neliönoir further expand current national records while shuffling up the top 10. New Lexico's streak ending also sees them vacate the top 10, and 4/5 of countries who had been in a tie for 12th place now move up to a four-way tie for 10th, so welcome Ajanaeda, Cumulonimbia, Kluminican Republic and Lookylion to the top tier (with Ajanaeda also expanding their current record, as was already locked in with their auto-qualifier this month). Fljótavík would have joined them but alas also DNQed this month.

Why So Sirius (fka Sovarasma) make it to 7 in a row to match their record previously set in BJSCs 139-145, while Macromia make it to 3 in a row for the first time after matching their previous record of 2 last month (see above post). Additionally, Hinterlandia return after a month of forced absence and qualify again to set a new record including nonconsecutive participations of 3 qualifiers in a row (BJSCs 171-172 & 174), though as per the previous post their consecutive record remains at 2.
