For some reason, I am usually in the last batch to be announced... is because I am Dutch??

Most of my faves have actually been announced already now, so primarily just rooting for Cor Lupus and Utopia from what's left. Kathaldazia/Lookylion and FSR Rontvia/Trifoski (or Ultraviolenceland x) would be my preferred other qualifiers x

so y’all are gonna tell me I got enough to nearly miss out on the final? is that what it is?

ok...ok... we'll put Cody out of his misery after that tease in my last post. Well done hun! If it wasn't for infamous email legends Hinterlandia, FARC would've autoqualified anyway so it's only right they get through anyway. Andrew Garfield seems happy for these two.

Ah that's a shame for DJ Koze but I wasn't expecting big things for it so it's not too much of a blow. This is the 3rd contest in a row where I'd genuinely been expecting to DNQ so it's definitely my turn for it to happen!

Well my favourite Cor Lupus entry so far this year had to defy the DNQ predictions! Happy to see FARC through too after finishing so far ahead of 3rd last time out - the first 2nd placed non-AQ to come through since Klum Rep seven contests ago!

Congrats Cody, definitely a fave of mine from Semi 1 and stood out sonically there too, so would have been an annoying DNQ!

I have used all my strength to avoid engaging in the histrionics of the week but I didn't think Momma would DNQ (albeit was slightly less confident than I'd usually be in Cor Lupus qualifying) so hooray x

And most importantly that means all 4 of the Persephonia alumni (plus my own entry) have qualified

SEMI FINAL 2:

QUALIFIED: FSR RONTVIA (lozeak - NADA)

QUALIFIED: ZANMATONY (H3rizon - Soul Ties (Don't Give It Up))

Some more iconic female pop makes it through SF2. A polite clap from Martin Scorsese... I can't imagine him listening to either of these to be honest. Fortunately for these two, the age of BJSC contestants skews slightly younger.

Great Qs there, the H3rizon song is an earworm, and it took me until a few days ago to realise lozeak's name begins with a lowercase "L", not capital "i"!

Omg, I didn't even get a Q prediction so came in expecting nothing. Thank you kind, kind supporters, thrilled to be part of such a landmark final. Congrats to Zanmatony too!

I didn't like the previous lozeak entry at all so this one was quite a pleasant surprise for me, think it'll be one of this month's earworms.

I'll predict Kathaldazia and Taahino to be the last 2 semi 1 qualifiers, and I think Lotunia will be one of the last 2 from semi 2 but really can't call between the other three hmm! (Very much want to say Utopia but I wouldn't be surprised if they narrowly missed out from this semi draw)

I'm also REALLY glad Rontvia is through, killing it with the pop entries! Zanmatony's entry feels like sufficient revenge for Say Now not qualifying a couple years ago so happy to see that through as well
