Good shout there with Mark and Jeremy @Chez Wombat I've been going back to Peep Show a lot recently just putting it on whenever I don't want to start something new and they'll forever be iconic!

Great idea!

Day 1: Favourite trans character

Dennis/Denise Bryson from Twin Peaks, a minor role but it was treated with dignity and respect while just making her a detective that's great at her job that happens to be more comfortable as a woman.

Day 1: Favourite trans character - Elle Argent (Heartstopper)

Probably one of the more obvious choices but Elle is a really positive portrayal of a trans person in a show that's full of optimistic LGBTQ+ characters already. "Trans people aren't a debate" is a speech that's sadly growing more and more pertinent.

Day 2: Favourite new TV show released in 2025: From Bureaucrat to Villainess: Dad's Been Reincarnated!:

Day 1: Favourite trans character - Elektra Abundance-Evangelista (Pose)

Day 2: Favourite new TV show released in 2025 - Cassandra

Day 3: Favourite on-screen friendship - Dustin Henderson and Steve Harrington (Stranger Things)

If anyone hasn't seen Cassandra yet, would highly recommend. German limited series on Netflix about an AI home (and you can probably guess how it goes). So, so good. And then Dustin and Steve's friendship in Stranger Things is just one of the most wholesome things ever imo, came from nowhere but just works so well, magic whenever they have scenes together heart

Day 2: Favourite new TV show released in 2025

The Studio on Apple TV+. Great skewering of Hollywood's shady practices and some great takes from directors/actors playing themselves.

Day 3: Favourite on-screen friendship

Mark & Jeremy from Peep Show. Toxic and completely terrible for each other, and wonderful for it x

  1. favourite trans character: Lily Hoshikawa (Zombieland Saga)

  2. favourite new show released in 2025: Adolescence

I think that's just because it's honestly the only 2025 new release I've watched so far. Good show though.

  1. favourite on-screen friendship: Julian Bashir and Miles O'Brien (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine)

Seven seasons of initial antagonism between the British-born young smarmy doctor and the Irish engineer that develops into a true buddy friendship through conflict and down-time, is always great to watch and is one of many reasons why the characters of DS9 are the best in Star Trek if not television.

(peep show is also a legendary call)

Day 1: Favourite trans character - Arun Parmar (Bad Girls)

Day 2: Favourite new TV show released in 2025 - Battle Camp

Day 3: Favourite on-screen friendship - Jack & Karen (Will & Grace)

Day 4: TV show you've deliberately avoided watching: DAN DA DAN cheeseblock

I did want to watch the anime every week when it aired, but a certain annoying American AniTuber ruined my excitement so I put it on hold after 2 funny episodes dry.gif.

Day 4: TV show you've deliberately avoided watching - Mrs Brown's Boys

Snap Chez, no explanation required whatsoever lol

I did end up watching it in the end (and was neither up or down about it) but for a while I'd have said Adolescence too. The mass hysteria around it and that BBC interview interrogating Kemi Badenoch about why she hadn't yet watched it, embarrassing. Everything just made me not want to.
