I don't see Liverpool in any urgency to sign him in the current state. They are less desperate to sign him than Newcastle are to keep him, and if Liverpool were desperate in that position they know they could demand any other top striker at this time which they have already done this window. I think Isak will end up staying until the winter window for now, but he won't be reintegrated to avoid creating a negative changing room.

They should try and convince Chris Wood to resign he's one of the most prolific strikers in the league right now!

And clubs have successfully dug their heels in before when a player wanted out, like Rooney at United and Suarez at Liverpool themselves but yeah it's not really feasible to essentially freeze them out of playing as a punishment.

I'm still expecting movement for Jackson, Vardy, Watkins, Wissa, Sterling and perhaps a few other released players to get new clubs before the end of the window... and one of those could be Newcastle!

We’re desperately short up front. We have 4 senior attackers and 1 of those barely played last season and we lose Salah for a good chunk of time too.

We have a habit of sticking to our guns on a target and not budging. The silence from our club mouth pieces is quite interesting though. We’ve not moved on and we’re staying silent.

They say meet their conditions. Their conditions are £150mill and them finding an adequate replacement. The two replacements were Etikike and Sesko. They’re now not possible and Liverpool aren’t offering near that amount. It’s not happening. They’re looking for a Wilson replacement atm and obviously expect Isak to stop sulking when the window shuts. Liverpool thought they’d get him since they had his full commitment but it didn’t work out that way.

They are not getting £150m for him. The deal would get done for about £130m, and that’s with some add ones.

I don’t except Isak to stop sulking, he wants to leave. Yes there are other examples, Suarez did the same but that was all resolved within 10 days. Isak went nuclear and all the information since is PR from Newcastle to control the narrative. They were obviously open to selling him but haven’t been able to get a single target. I still think it gets done up until Liverpool come out and pour cold water on it.

We will see but there are no indications whatsoever from Newcastle they’ll budge so it seems like clutching at straws

More frustration if you're a Newcastle fan as another Wissa bid swiftly rejected. Their recruitment team must be at odds as to what they have to do to sign any notable strikers right now.

Fulham are back in talks with Shakhtar Donetsk over the signing of forward Kevin. 

A gap in valuation exists between the two clubs as they discuss the fee and structure of the deal. Fulham are encouraged by the player being open to the move.

I see the logic in all their moves but nearly 200 mill on Madueke, Eze and Gyokeres feels very Ten Haag

It's why people are bonkers if they think they get re-integrate Isak. They've told him they would sell him, couldn't sign anyone and can't even sign an alleged backup striker. There's a reason they can't attract top players too, likely because they have no football strategy or vision.

Brentford want 60 mill for Wissa unsurprisingly new Newcastle offering much less as that’s way too much for him
