  • Understood, fair enough. Guess the Goo Goo Dolls are the opposite situation, include a “The” on streaming services but didn’t on the original albums/singles covers

  • 'Victory Lap' by Fred Again.., Skepta & PlayBoyMax has debuted at #92 on the Sales chart under the title 'Freelance'.

This is extremely pedantic but technically it’s just “Black Eyed Peas” without a “The”

Shame that they and Coldplay manages resets but Radiohead didn’t.

This is how it is on digital platforms but some of their album and single covers include "The", including Rock That Body and its parent album. Annoyingly inconsistent!

UK TOP 100 21.06.25 #38

THE TOP TEN:

10. Back To Friends – Sombr (Down 3/Sales fall/15 weeks in chart)
9. Sapphire – Ed Sheeran (No change/Sales climb/2 weeks in chart)
8. Blessings – Calvin Harris/Clementine Douglas (No change/Sales climb/6 weeks in chart)
7. Undressed – Sombr (Down 2/Sales fall/13 weeks in chart)
6. Family Matters – Skye Newman (No change/Sales fall/5 weeks in chart)
5. Dior – MK/Chrystal (Up 17/2 weeks in chart)
4. Pink Pony Club – Chappell Roan (No change/Sales climb/31 weeks in chart)
3. Love Me Not – Ravyn Lenas (No change/Sales climb/19 weeks in chart)
2. Manchild – Sabrina Carpenter (Down 1/Sales fall/2 weeks in chart)
1. Ordinary – Alex Warren (Up 1/Sales fall/19 weeks in chart)

NEW ENTRIES:

97. Art – Nemzzz/Latto (6/10)

Previous listen:

Nemzzz made this a lot better; I feel his style is easier to listen to, so him being on this helped.

Added:

It's 1 minute and 49 seconds and is simply just their usual rapping; the beat isn't aiming to wow; instead, it's just something to place on their voice. It's not that hardcore either.

86. Rein Me In – Sam Fender (6.5/10)

I believe this is going viral due to the Olivia Dean remix, so I'll post my review of that instead:
This is a new version of Sam Fender's "Rein Me In" from his early 2025 album "People Watching". I honestly think Olivia's verse was not needed, and my opinion on this won't make me come back to the song.

Added:

I'll give my opinion on the original, which I prefer more, with the composition providing some groovy and natural tunes over the song's theme of relationships. The ending is really the cherry on top, with what I believe is a saxophone ending the song.

55. Holy Blindfold – Chris Brown (7/10)

Probably wasn't the best time to drop music, but still. This song is simple; it's Chris Brown, and I haven't heard much of him, but from the stuff I've heard from him, this doesn't impress me much more.

Added (AKA second listen):

The song follows the pattern of Brown's slow, R&B music with the tuning fitting right. And honestly my score is going up! +0.5

40. Sparks – Coldplay (8/10)

From their 2000 album "Parachutes", "Sparks" charted after Chris Martin had a breakup (there's no way we are seriously making a return for this.) But it's still a good song. The guitar chords have this nostalgic feel, and the slowness eases you into the song's emotion of begging for another chance after doing wrong to your partner. The song is enjoyable but also sad.

37. No Broke Boys – Disco Lines/Tinashe (5/10)

Well, it's definitely better than the original and transforms it into a fun, danceable song. I'll take it over the original version.

34. Suzanne – Mark Ronson/RAYE (5.5/10)

I've defended and loved RAYE a lot, but I honestly can't defend this… It just feels so simple in so many aspects. There's no part that gets you hooked or excited more, nor is there anything at all that goes out of the ordinary. It goes for a more old, soulful sound that feels overused.

33. The Contract – Twenty One Pilots (6.4/10)

The first single from TOP's upcoming album, and after hearing "Clancy" for the first time a few weeks ago, it's safe to say there was definitely some excitement in me for this. Did they deliver? Honestly, this could've been much better. It feels like they're trying to give us something new with adding a brand of electronics on top of a slightly changed rock-pop formula. I've heard better from them; this doesn't hit the mark of approval for me.

30. Killin' It Girl – J-Hope/Glorilla (7/10)

The funky clicks and pattern that sound like glasses clinking went together really well, and Glorilla matched the fun and more intense energy by giving an equally as good part.

RE-ENTRIES:

99. Yellow – Coldplay
[Expected with the new entry]

35. Rock That Body – Black Eyed Peas
[Don't get what's with the return.]
