Nice to see a few new names making it into the Champions League, with Kairat and Pafos making it in!

Congratulations to Qarabag, FC København, Club Brugge and Benfica, the last teams to make it into the champions league! A humiliating night for rangers, 6-0 on the night and 9-1 on aggregate

The Celtic result is an embarrassment for Scottish football. For context, Kairat are ranked 68 places lower than the team I support in Scotland (St Johnstone) and we got relegated last year to the second tier of Scottish football. Celtic really did blow it, fair play to Kairat, they played well and stood strong throughout the 2 legs but on paper Celtic should really be sweeping them aside.

Also, just on a side note would anyone be interested if I potentially opened a thread for the Scottish leagues? I totally understand it probably doesn’t interest most people as the biggest leagues are down south but just wanted to put the idea out there

I wouldn’t be opposed to it in the slightest, it’s a good league and I enjoy the old form rivalry!

Celtic should have won but the Kazak Champions(normally Astana) regularly reach this point and get beat so not surprising a uninspired Celtic team who’ve spent 300k all summer have found it too much to get through.

What a goal for Jaja to put FC Pafos into the league phase for the first time and in the last minute too!
