The summer releases come out in July, the winter releases come out in November (that's every 4 months), so the spring releases are meant to release in March, not April.

I think that's good logic. Makes a lot of sense releasing numbered issues on Good Friday.

They will also want to wait until after the Brit Awards to include any winners or noteworthy performers potentially.

Also as @gooddelta previously pointed out there are so fewer hits to select from between November and March so the longer the gap they give the more chance of additional hits, and with the likes of Alex Warren and RAYE due to release in a few days time I imagine they will be knocking on the door for a track placement.

Though don't be surprised if any big hits from now until the revealing of the tracklist are saved for the next volume as always happens. (That's why I'm hoping HUNTR/X, sombr and Tate McRae will all be included from the 122 leftovers).

Let's just see what happens until then.

"Based" question but, with how slow the charts have become, how long the songs are staying on the chart, and how so many artists are refusing to have their tracks feature on the numbered volumes, do you think NOW may even cut down to two volumes a year?

Like they did in 1985, 1986, 1987, 1990 and 1991? Don’t think so. They should switch to the American format and have four single disc editions a year filled with just hits

Well, you're right. It wasn't announced today, but like you said, it could be next week that we may get it (release date being 10 April). Coincidentally, that release date COULD BE my mum's birthday.

They usually announce the numbered albums 4 weeks prior to release date. I reckon they won’t announce anything next week because they don’t usually release albums on Easter weekend then they’ll announce Now 123 in 2 weeks and release it on 10th April

I see. Equivalent to other NOW releases.

I’m just hoping we get at least one Sombr song on Now 123. I wonder if we’ll get 12 To 12 only or both that and Homewrecker? I hope we get both songs as 12 To 12 should’ve been on Now 122

I think they will "save" one of RAYE or Alex Warren for the Summer volume.

Even though Sonny Fodera has two songs at the moment (Think About Us and My Loving), I can see the latter being saved for Now 124

My final prediction

I hope Harry Styles does an Ed Sheeran and allows this era onto compilations to give Now 123 at least one number 1. As for Zara Larsson, we’ll more likely get Midnight Sun only and if they were to include Djo, it won’t be End Of Beginning as it only appeared quite recently on Now 118. Dave definitely won’t be on there because he somehow thinks he’s too big for compilations

I hope Bebe Rexha appears on Now 123 with her Insomnia sample New Religion even though I don’t think it will appear as it’s just been released. If it doesn’t appear, I hope it at least appears on Now 124
