I’m getting to an age where I’m not sure what was a chart smash and what’s something NOW just feels like plonking on there “for the older fans”, you know?

Also, what an absolute tease putting ‘Islands In The Stream’ on there instead of ‘9 To 5’. Between the Yearbooks and the numbered NOWs, 9 To 5 hasn’t appeared once.

Would this be considered as a stronger edition?

Well, they DID have 9 to 5 on NOW 80s, released back in 2024, and the forthcoming NOW Legends.

If they wanted to pay tribute to Bonnie Tyler, I’d rather they included Holding Out For A Hero or one of her 70s hits instead of Total Eclipse Of The Heart which is already on Now 1. Odd choice for Dolly. I was expecting 9 To 5 instead of Islands In The Stream and as for ADÉLA, I was expecting them to save Nicole Kidman for Now 126 but other than that, it’s an improvement on Now 124 although the discs could’ve been filled
