It still sounds so fresh. It's also the song I still hear the most out and about.

One of my favorite Madonna songs. Everytime I hear it, it makes me want to dance and I just love the bassline.

Into the Groove is one of her best 80s tracks.

Such a brilliant pop song which is even better when it's attached to her first, and arguably best, proper feature film where she had a big role.

The Blond Ambition performance is awesome, and I also liked how it was done at the Celebration Tour.

Def in my top 10!

The shep mix on You Can Dance and the original version are my favourites!!

To think this song still needs to be certified at 1.4 million 😢!!

She nearly gave this song away !!!

I think it's my ultimate 80s Madonna party song. I wouldn't say the lyrics were deep but they really put you into that moment of being on the dancefloor and I think it's difficult to do that in a way that isn't generic. Madonna sings the hell out of it and the production is just relentless joy.

Her albums 'Like a Virgin' and 'Madonna' also reached then-new peaks of #2 and #10 that week.

It truly was! Eight Top 10 (Top 5 in fact) hits in a calendar year which was a chart record at the time (and can only have been beaten a couple of times since; I can think of Elvis in 2005 and Ed Sheeran in 2017).
