So, a video that's been nominated as one of the best direction, art direction, cinematography, editing, choreo, and vfx ISN'T nominated over another of her videos that wasn't nominated in any of them categories for video of the year?

Is there something I'm missing? Feels bizarre that 'Abracadabra' has been recognised as one of the best in every video category apart from video of the year. Surely 'DWAS' would be nominated in at least one of them? 🤣

I guess it's not that deep, it's just VMAs need to award the most popular songs instead of best videos in the VOTY and genre categories.

Do we think she'll make an appearance this year? A tour date on the same night but she could livestream maybe?
