I think Golden is my preferred song of the two so glad it looks to be heading back to #1, but The Subway's a nice track.

Official Charts Report

Following Chappell Roan’s Number 1 debut with The Subway last week, former chart-toppers HUNTR/X (of Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters) are taking her on with Golden to claim another week at the top.

Golden is currently in the lead at Number 1, but with The Subway not far behind at Number 2, there's still plenty to play for before Friday's final Official Singles Chart.

Meanwhile, Disco Lines & Tinashe are eyeing up a new peak of Number 4 with No Broke Boys, while A Little More, Ed Sheeran’s latest single from upcoming eighth studio album Play, is riding high at Number 8 and set to claim this week’s highest new entry.

Outside the Top 10, Justin Bieber’s Yukon is up eight places to Number 16 after 48 hours, a potential new peak for the track. Finally, High On Me by DJ and producer Rossi. and Irish singer Jazzy could return to its previous peak of Number 19.

The Official Chart: First Look offers a first glance of the Top 20 ahead of Friday’s Official Singles Chart Top 100. The chart is based on preliminary sales and early streaming reports.

Beautiful Things back in Top 10 😄 (except A Little More has physicals to be sent this week ?)

Golden has clicked with me since seeing the film yesterday finally although it definitely has nothing at all on The Subway for me. I'm just glad that got its week at the top, if one week is all it is ever destined to have. Hope it can manage more though as it's such a beauty.

Though it’s interesting it says the subway is not far behind that means Golden isn’t doing as well as last week. Figures since last week it was 1 and 45 on Amazon now just 2 and the other version disappeared
