This is a bop!! 2/3 for this era now. Pretty Ugly is still a bit too shouty for me.

I think this is her most cohesive era yet for sure. I’ve loved her for ages but this era has really cemented everything I’ve ever seen in her as an artist.

The photo shoots, the art direction, the whole vibe of summery, unashamedly pop, girly and confident. Think she just works so well with MNEK’d brain.

The music videos out, arachnophobes beware, I’m sticking to streaming audio only lol, yes I’m that pathetic. Deffo not feeling it as much as ‘Midnight Sun’, though I’m glad they’ve kept rolling with this era though and perhaps I’ll warm to it. Not looking likely to chart in my top 20 for August though. (Midnight Sun is looking likely to spend its 2nd month #1).
