  • I've been recording Sinitta's performance on British and Maltese Spotify top 50 charts for 26 years and I'm getting increasingly worried about how long this period of missing data in my spreadsheet is

  • Isn't is most likely that simply nobody has listened to anything on Spotify the past few days? Like they can't exactly publish a daily chart when every song has 0 streams.

  • Then my message to Spotify is... take your time with resolving the issues, there's really no rush! ❤️

How do you climb if your already at the top 😮

Still no Friday Spotify Update.

Last week was probably the strongest week of the year, 'Man I Need' recorded the second highest weekly figure of the year and 'Tears' the seventh. That said, there have still only been six times where a song has managed over 4 million streams in a week and we're yet to get anywhere close to breaking the 5 million mark. For comparison, last year there were over 20 times where a song recorded 5 million streams in a week (and that's excluding Christmas songs).

'That's So True' and 'Mr. Brightside' both dropped below a million weekly streams for the first time this year. 'BIRDS OF A FEATHER' and 'Messy' just held on, with 'Beautiful Things' and 'Good Luck, Babe!' the other two songs still able to follow 'Blinding Lights' (2020) and 'Stick Season' and 'Lose Control' (2024)'s footsteps of achieving a whole calendar year above 1 million weekly streams.

'Beautiful Things' now extends its streak of consecutive weeks above 1 million streams to 85, now an all time record above Stick Season (83).

Finally, 'Nice to Each Other' is now up to #77 on the Spotify YTD despite being yet to appear on the OCC list.

They are 1,2,4,5,6,7,10, think it's the highest overall they've been

A deluxe version was released on friday with singalong. Instrumentals, and capella versions, does Apple combine versions by any chance

So just checking, we don’t have a Friday or Saturday update for Spotify at the moment? Does that mean First Look tonight won’t have any Spotify data in it whatsoever

Good question, I assume because the Spotify data hasn’t been released on the website the OCC won’t get it either?

God knows what’ll be no1 if that’s the case 🤣

I'd imagine Golden since its #1 on both Amazon and Apple
