Well 'Entwined' is absolutely brilliant, one of my favourite things they've ever done for sure!

I actually don’t like it too much, which is surprising as I usually love everything they do. Hopefully it’ll grow.

Worth mention, his debut was released as a full 3 vinyl set in 2022, just found out. Shame Splash is without I Blame Coco, but still worth buying

I guess it was just staying true to the original album as Coco was only added to the single release

I wanted to see what his first week numbers look like for all 4 albums now (plus Portals), particularly for Torus considering it was so close to that Top 10 spot in 2013! Very similar sales to now though with only a few hundred copies between Contact and Torus. He completely smashed those Evolve sales in just a couple of years too but that album has just gone Silver so it's definitely held its own in such a short amount of time. I couldn't get his debut figures from 2009 but #40 that week was 5,805 so have guessed it was sub 5k.

Entwined now has a great anime inspired music video released this week. Honestly that drop at 2:45 sends shivers all of my body!

This made me appreciate Porter & Madeon even more for doing a collaboration with A-1 Pictures...

Oh Reddit and TikTok is full of "this is AI" for the video. The YT description says Fan Fiction by "Eternal Recurrence, Luca Repola" but not much detail online about who that is. It's all very heightened rn.

I really hate the Alvin and the Chipmunks vocal on ‘Entwined’.

‘So Many Colours’ and ‘Elevate’ are my favourites from the new tracks.

Having listened again over the weekend I'd say 'Roll Too Deep' is now up there as one of my standout/favourite tracks

Downloaded the digital copy of the album from his store as it's only £4.99 including the deluxe tracks and some extended mixes too, bargain!

So maybe another week inside of top 100 then

Still waiting for my vinyl to arrive, it's already sold out, they are selling it for 150 euro on discogs.
