The overall winner of last year's comp 'Physical' wins the 2020 round once again but not without strong competition from former victor The Weeknd who almost overtook. Miley is never to be underestimated here either having also been a former contest winner. Meanwhile we have a new direct-qualifier from Chappell Roan whose song went unnoticed in the comp until it took off as a chart hit last year and further gained popularity in 2025. She kicks out Lady Gaga down a place.

Cardi B finally putting out a second album assists her into the top 10, joined by Dojo Cat and Taylor Swift who also recently put out records. It remains a good year for Dua Lipa aside from winning the round 'Levitating' auto qualifies again with 'Break My Heart' now joined by 'Hallucinate' in the semi-finals. Harry Styles now has 2 songs in contention with 'Golden' rising to join 'Watermelon Sugar'. Queen of flop Ava Max sees a big boost for 'Kings & Queens' as does The 1975 who haven't put any music out for three years now.

Good to see Golden in the Semi's! Surprising its ahead of Watermelon Sugar.... but then again I much prefer Golden

A lot of near misses for me - Fontaines and Angels Like You narrowly missing AQ and Dadi Freyr narrowly missing SF.

Yikes at the fall for Parasite Eve, but softer indie holding up better than I thought. Didn't see many votes come in for the likes of Violent Sun when scanning the posts but it's help up OK.

I see my nomination attempting to get everyone into the wonderful world of Peat & Diesel failed abjectly 😅
