I'm also so grateful that A*Teens were placed in the first heat so they could get that amazing comeback story of a No.1 single before the bigger hitters came through. In previous years where all the f

For me, the most generic nation at Eurovision. The performance feels almost non-existent, because the woman literally isn’t even visible 90% of the time, and the focus isn’t on her but on the lights, the smoke, and some “big festival” atmosphere. Vocally, visually, and in terms of originality it’s a nicely packaged bomb that’s empty inside.

This is a great song choice and probably my favourite, alongside “Iconic”, from this final. However, both times she’s performed this I’ve thought the vocals are pretty terrible. It feels like the sort of entry that Eurovision fans will love but I can’t see it lighting up the scoreboard in the final. I think Greczula might have been a better choice, despite not enjoying the song as much.

On first listen - much preferred Iconic

This feels very generic to me and I got bored! I accept this for ballads as I like how they grow on repeat listens

Maybe it’ll be a grower…

I don't believe Grezcula would have had big chances at the ESC - sounds a bit too exchangeable for me. So very happy that Felicia made it!!!

Agreed, and I'm surprised it did so well actually, about half of the other finalists have ended up being a bigger hit in the Swedish charts than Half Of Me. I think he has it in him to win in the future, but this wasn't the song. It's a little bit derivative of too many other songs and styles (ABBA, Queen, Gloria by Umberto Tozzi, the list honestly goes on).

Felicia was definitely their best bet for Eurovision, although Medina could have done well too looking at their jury score (and it would have clearly been a good song for the televote too). I still prefer Que Sera to Viva L'amor myself.
