Olivia and Cliff duet beat previous # 1 hit (Sue Wilkinson - Posers) and was dethroned by ABBA - Happy New Year in the next chart.

"The Land Of Make Believe" was the first song, which spent 9 consecutive weeks on the top of "Gražios Dainos". Only YVA will beat this record with their ultimate hit "Brunetes Blondines" in the first months of 2008 year.

It's my favourite Christmas # 1 from UK chart, 9.5 / 10 song did a comeback to the top and spent 7 (5+2) combined weeks at # 1.

I like 'Save Your Love', its a link back to the styles of music at the start of the UK music charts in 1952.

Kirsty McColl's first #1 on your chart They Don't Know is good, but I am more used to Tracey Ullmann's equally good version with the 60s style music.

Just like in 1981 and 1982 years Christmas # 1 was my favourite single in Year-End chart.

Suddenly is lovely, 2 honey-sweet vocals singers who had been friends since the late 60's, and Land Of Make Believe is classic pop, also a chart-topper for me too. Save Your Love I'm OK with these days, my grandma loved it so it reminds me of her 👍

Like A Virgin is a good pop track, though I preferred Holiday at the time, but this was the one that sent Madonna into the stratosphere. The New Seekers track only just made my charts of the time, but hey I was a huge fan in the early 70's and so that's fine by me! Keep Each Other Warm should have been a hit, they were still quality right up to their final singles, though this one didnt quite top my chart. Songwriting consistency from Andy Hill and Pete Sinfield, great vocals and harmonies, and classy production throughout.

There are at least three 80s ballad Suddenly's - Cliff and Olivia, Billy Ocean and Angry Anderson!

Christmas classic hit became my # 1 in this year.

I heard the Mel & Kim version every day in the bar I frequent in Gran Canaria over Christmas - its still fun, and a shame it never gets UK playlisting anymore. Especially For You is fab, great tune. Twiggy's I don't know much, but I like the song and I like Twiggy! Soundtrack To A Generation I like, they sometimes do it in concerts, and Kim did her (many) Xmas songs a few years back when she did a one-off local Christmas Concert. Fab! Bjorn Again were fun, went to see them in the 90's for an Abba-tastic night out.
